55. Change of Events

"Care to tell me why you're taking me?" I asked the commander.

"You are suspected of being involved in a murder and terror case."

"Terror? Murder? Based on what?"

"All will be explained to you at the headquarters. You have the right to remain silent; anything you say can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you," declared the commander.

"Honey!" Anne shouted, upset when the police were about to take me. The commander held her back.

"Keep your hands off, my wife, commander," I said threateningly.

"Or what?" the commander taunted.

"Or you can be charged with harassment and trespassing. I'll willingly come along as long as you don't disturb my family. If I wanted to, I could request a warrant, but not, right? I don't want to inconvenience you," I replied with a false wide smile.
