The response was a scoff, a mocking sound that sent a chill down Charlie's spine. "My existence doesn't matter to anyone," the voice sneered. "So don't ask me who I am. Someone they long thought was dead is still very alive. How does that sound to you?"

Charlie's eyes widened, his grip on the phone tightening. "Who are you?" he demanded again, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Can you please introduce yourself better? Who are you and what the hell can I do for you?"

The voice chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, Charlie. You'll find out soon enough. But for now, let's just say...your family's past is coming back to haunt you."

Charlie's voice was laced with frustration and anger, his words tumbling out in a passionate plea. "What did you mean by my family's past? Who are you and why don't you come and talk to me in person?" he demanded, his eyes blazing with determination.
