VISITING THE COOPERS’ VILLA

Ashton Pearce barely slept that night. He simply could not. His thoughts were rather consumed by the ashwagandha plant, by Elizabeth Cooper, and by the implications of what he was about to do. The more he thought about it, the more he felt an urgent need to visit the Coopers’ villa as soon as possible. He had to know more. He just had to confirm his suspicions.

The following morning, luckily it was a weekend and so there was no work, Ashton got ready and prepared to visit the Coopers' villa. The nervous energy that coursed through him the night before had settled into something more resolute. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he adjusted his collar, he reminded himself that this was about more than just a flower and not necessarily that he wanted to see Elizabeth and had to take extra care in dressing to impress her. Ahem.

But it was about the truth, about understanding the connection he felt toward this plant and, more importantly, how it was related to Elizabeth.
