CHAPTER 168
“You’re okay,” Jain said as Rylan came towards her.

He flashed her a warm smile and she could feel her stomach churn in response.

“Were you worried about me?” He asked.

Jain rolled her eyes.

“Don’t push your luck.”

Rylan chuckled at that.

“Are you guys going to put me to sleep or you’re going to kiss already?” Lana, who was standing by Rylan asked.

They had both forgotten that she was with them. Rylan was gripping her by the elbow waiting to hand her over to the cops. As the cops came, he handed her over to them. Lana walked away as they handcuffed her and she headed towards one of the cars.

Jain and Rylan were now alone. Rylan looked like a mess. His face was covered with sweat and his dark brown hair was pasted to his forehead because of the sweat. His amber eyes were dull and he looked exhausted. His dress wasn’t any different. She could remember that he had torn off his sleeve to stop the bleeding on her gun wound. The wound had now been successfully stitched
