Alaric has been enduring all these humiliation and suffering because he has no family and he has no where to go. He has been silent all this while because he couldn’t afford to even offend the servant.
He was washing the utensils while the servant were doing nothing. He sometimes wonder the duty of those servant.
They don’t wash, they don’t clean, all they do is to gossip everyday while he the mistress husband have been doing everything.
“Hey Alaric it’s getting late and you have not prepared the second young mistress breakfast. Do you want to starve her?”
“ What says your time?” Alaric asked the servant.
“ It half past seven, you have less than one and half hour?”
“ Oh my gosh am dead, my wife is going to scold me,” he murmured.
“He went to the kitchen and prepared her chicken and waffles and served it on the dining table.
Alaric cleaned the kitchen, wash the utensils. This has been his morning chores.“The second miss is sleeping in her room, let her know am done with breakfast when she wakes up.” Alaric said to one of the servant.
“Why would I do that , this isn’t my job, the servant said rudely to him. He headed out unconcerned not bothered with the servant's rudeness.
The old lady’s birthday was just around the corner, she was making preparation towards it. She called Alaric to pick her at the mall.In the car he was reminiscing on how his parents died and why his wife and her relative started maltreating him after he has given them his shares. It became worse after the old master of the Hans family died.
He thought to himself if it was due to greediness or because the family never liked him. Alaric saw the old woman fuming in anger, he knew he was going to get a scolding for arriving late.“You useless fool, can you be a little useful, how many hours does it take to drive from the mansion to the mall.”

Alaric clenched his fist, he stood there for a while before driving the old lady home.
When he got home, he saw everybody gazing at him pathetically.“Alaric what kind of breakfast is this? The chicken is burnt and tasteless do you want to kill me with this kind of breakfast? You have been preparing breakfast for almost five years, is this all you could do? And what is this, do you call this a juice?
"This will be your breakfast. You are trash so you can eat trash. I don’t want to see this thing you call breakfast," his wife Mandi chided her and threw the juice on him and went upstairs.
“He deserves it , what was he expecting when all he have is his handsome face , one of the servant ridiculed him.”
“Hmm when am I going to get out of this mess. I , Alaric know I’m not useless”.
Alaric have the dog eaten?”“No they haven’t.
“What do you mean by they haven’t eaten, he heard Sharon’s voice behind him, don’t you know the dogs are of more value than a good for nothing like you?. Come on get up and give the dogs food.” Sharon Alaric’s mother I law commanded him.
He was going to give the breakfast Mandi rejected to the dogs but,
“ Where are you going with this,” she asked him.
“Am going to feed it to the dogs.”
“Didn’t Mandi tell you to take this as a breakfast? The dogs are of more worth than a useless fool like you? Prepare them a good food after you are done with Mandi’s breakfast."
Alaric was very exhausted and decided to rest a little. She heard Mandi's calling out to him, he went to listen to what she has to say.
" Alaric why haven't you cleaned my bathroom?"
"Sorry I was a little exhausted and wanted to take a little nap."
"What have you done today to make you exhausted? You are the most useless, incompetent and lazy man I have ever seen . All you have is your face. If I were you I would have been gigolo at least it would have fetch you enough money. Will go and wash the bathroom?
