"Enough! This is enough! How can you be my real father? I know who is my father and mother," Stephanie interrupted Paul in anger.

She wondered why a total stranger would come into her house and claim to be her father.

"I know you may not understand this, Stephanie. But I can make you understand. Twenty-four years ago, my wife died not long after giving birth to you, and since Mrs Allison was my friend, I begged her to take up the responsibility of taking care of you. That's the reason why you've been with her all this while," Paul tried to explain.

"I don't believe you! I don't! My mother has never told me that I'm not her real daughter," Stephanie said.
