As she left, he rolled his eyes. He knew her kind and it disgusted him. They were only there when they could sniff out money.

They didn’t care if one was skilled or talented in their art, so long as one had the money they would flock around like pigeons around a grain house.

He looked at the card one more time before tossing it into a waste bin, entering the company without a second thought about her.

He knew her kind would never have approached him when he was broke, even though by that period he would be in dire need of money and would do anything nasty with her to have it.

He shook his head, veering into an elevator which a security guard opened up for him.

While the elevator door closed, he started to think about the women he had met who had approached him because of his new status. It was a shame none of them would have seen him before his riches came in.
