Chapter 42
Damien walked to where his grandson stood seeing the young man stare through the window deep in thoughts.

He could tell that he was worried about what was going to happen in the future and he had to reassure the man of his involvement in his safety.

“You don’t need to be troubled, kid,” the man grunted out a reply, going to sit on a couch with his legs crossed.

“After everything you’ve told me, I feel like the chaos in the family. I can tell that this evening would not be the worst we’ve seen. He will come back and it could be worse.”

“Elijah is not going to be a bother to you,” he reassured the young man, motioning for him to sit with him. “Trust me on that.”

However Richardson knew better. He knew that was not going to be the case at all. He knew the troubles would be much once Elijah shared his tale with the rest of his family.
