SIXTY THREE

Garcia Anderson walked briskly down the crowded city street, her eyes scanning every face she passed. It was that bad, she couldn't just stay and do nothing.

She was eager to find Harvey, the one person she believed could save her family from ruin. Despite the cold wind biting at her cheeks, she didn’t slow her pace. Her search for Harvey had become an obsession, and she wouldn’t rest until she found him.

Stopping in front of a small café, Garcia pushed open the door and stepped inside. The warmth of the café was a welcome relief from the chilly air outside. She approached the counter and smiled at the barista.

"Excuse me," she began, "I'm looking for someone who might have been in here recently. His name is Harvey. He's about my age, has dark hair, and usually wears sunshades. "The barista frowned, thinking for a moment before shaking her head. "Sorry, I don’t recall anyone like that. We get a lot of customers, though. You might want to check with the manager."
