“I won't make it,” Evan clenched his hands tightly on the steering wheel as the traffic jam ahead wasn't making things easier for him.

He glanced at the side mirror and noticed the cars behind him and the ones beside him.

“Damn it!” He cursed angrily and turned off the engine. He looked around and then stepped out of the car, slamming it behind him.

He gazed ahead, allowing the fresh breeze to brush against his cheeks.

As Evan stared ahead calmly, his heart racing as he pressed his feet into the ground, gathering all of his energy into his left leg.

Then, with a burst of speed, he shot forward, his legs propelling him forward like lightning.

The people in the car were still waiting for the traffic to clear when a sudden rush of wind blew past them, making them look up in surprise.

But by the time they turned their heads, Evan was gone.

He sped through the streets, his destination clear in his mind.
