The room light up as a switch sound was heard and nick could see uncle Harry at the door with his hand on the switch.

Nick heaved heavily and collapsed unto the bed.

"Hey i heard your scream are you alright". Harry asked.

"Hmm. It was a nightmare". Nick said.

"Nightmare? That's usual of you". Harry said.

"Am surprise too and it looked so real". Nick said.

"I just hope it's not what am thinking". Harry said.

"What uncle?". Nick asked.

"Same thing that happened to your father when....". He said and paused.

"Just make sure you see Mr. Frank today". Harry said and made to leave.

"When what?". Nick asked.

"Go back to sleep nick". He said and left.

"So how does he expect me to sleep again after that horrible nightmare?". Nick asked and began to ruminate on what his uncle said. Harry was definitely hiding something else he would have completed his statement.

Nick couldn't sleep again as he stayed throughout the night till the next morning when he prepared here school. He noticed some changes in his action like his body moving fast, he already broke the knob of the door and still wondering how it happened. He overlooked everything and left for school.

He pushed open the door and headed for his seat but saw a new student there.

"Wow! I'll not have to seat with Laura again". He thought happily and bounced to his former seat where his friends are.

He sat down and turned to Lance.

"No Welcome from you guys ". He asked.

" Yeah. Welcome back dude but make sure you learn the mode changer ". Glenn said and tapped him from the back.

" That's one thing i can't adapt guys, how do you expect to frown my face after laughing ". Nick said.

" Well then get ready to return back to your new seat ". Lance said.

" Seriously? ". Nick said turning back.

" if you don't mind your mom is here". Glenn said.

"My mom? ". Nick said and turned to the front only to see Miss Sarah entering the class.

"Not again". Nick exclaimed.

"Good morning class".

"Good morning ma".

Nick didn't respond as a thought hit him, when Glenn said his mom was here many thought flashed through his hand.

He have never cared to ask his father or uncle Harry where his mother was. He grew up in with his father and uncle only.

He was jerked off from his thought as miss Sarah told them that they'll be moving the next sub topic under the nervous system which was the brain.

Nick unzipped his bag and started searching for his textbook.

"I need someone to come out here with his or her textbook and draw the structure of the brain on the board". Miss. Sarah said and there was no response.

Her eyes began to scan round the class until it finally stopped at Laura's arena.

"Where's Mr. Robert?". She asked and a funny type of shiver went down Nick's body..

All eyes turned to him and his friends pointed to him.

"Such a betrayal". He thought.

"So if I may ask what the hell are you doing there?". Miss. Sarah asked.

"em. There's someone on my seat ". Nick said scratching his head.

" Someone without a name? ". She asked and the new student rose up from the seat.

" Sorry i never knew it was yours ". She said and made to leave but the teacher called her back.

" What's your name? ". Miss. Sarah asked.

" Rosita". Are replied.

"So Rosita you'll switch seat with Nick, Nick return back to your seat". Miss. Sarah said leaving Nick shocked with mouth opened. He felt the ground should open and swallow him up.

Rosita left the seat with her bag and so as Nick, they walked past each other and sat.

"Mind you Rosita don't be influenced by those by there, they are noise based". Miss. Sarah said.

"Ma your tarnishing our image". Lance said.

"Image indeed". She said and hissed.

Laura smiled which nick knew the interpretation. "Welcome to hell".

"Mr. Robert and Laura and need you out here to draw the structure of the brain". Miss. Sarah said.

"Ma you literally said that you call us by our surname but seems it apply to me only". Nick said.

"Shut up and get down here". She said angrily.

Nick grabbed his book and dragged his feet to the board.

"Laura will draw the brain of a human while nick that of a rabbit". Miss. Sarah said.

Nick could see Lance and Glenn giggling at the back.

"Why rabbit?". Nick murmured as he picked the marker and to draw.

"cos that's what you are?". Laura whispered.

He was tempted to hit her but he held back himself and started drawing while she drew on the other side of the board.

In ten Minutes he was through and left for his seat as soon as he sat he saw Laura heading back for her seat.

The teacher turned to the board and after some seconds turned back and said.

"Mr. Robert seems you forgot to label your diagram and there's no title too... For this i should give you 05 over 20".Miss. Sarah said.

Nick was shocked was this a dream. He remembered writing the title and putting the label in place how on earth did they disappear, there's only one person responsible for this, Laura.

He turned to her with an angry look as she chewed the gum in her mouth endlessly.

"Mr. Robert am talking to you". Miss. Sarah said but he ignored her as he continued his stare at Laura with his heart beating uncontrollable with anger.

He started feeling an inch all over his body like a goose pimples and the murmuring of the class sound like the roar of a lion 🦁 In his ear but it was still able to pick a sharp incoming sound.

Involuntarily his hand move up and caught the cover of the marker thrown at him, he was still surprised by how it happened when an invisible force drag his hand back and then forward with her great speed releasing the object on his hand as it traveled through the air and eventually hit the teacher on the forehead.

"How dare you Robert get out of my class?". She roared.

Nick who was more surprised took his bag and ran out of class and closing the door behind him, it broke down falling flat to the ground.

He increased his speed running through the corridor with Tears.

"Announcement, This is too inform all students to return home right now as there will be a staff meeting with the minister of education today". A voice rang out from the electric bell.

Nick ran out of the school, climbed his bicycle and paddled away.

He got home and jumped down from it running straight to where Uncle Harry stood and hugged him tightly.

"Uncle what's happening to me?". He asked in tears.

"It's okay nick, if it's what am thinking then you'll need see Mr. Frank at AMC". Harry said.

"What are you thinking uncle?". Nick asked.

"Same thing that happened to your father?". Harry said.

"What happened to my father?". Nick asked.

"Go to Mr. Frank at AMC you'll get all the answers to the questions you ask". Harry said.

Nick threw his bag to the front of the house and climbed his bicycle heading for AMC.

He finally got there and stopped at the building staring at the inscription at the top.

"AGENCY FOR MYSTERIOUS CRIME".

He got down and walked into the building which was deserted.

He continued walking through the hallway looking at devices and gadgets everywhere.

"Seems you finally came". He heard a voice and turned to the front as a man walked toward him.

"You look so much like your father". He said.

"You're Mr. Frank". Nick asked with eyes opened.

He nodded.

"He was brave and ready to fight against evil to any extent, he died saving Vice City, am sorry for the loss ". Frank said.

"How did my father die?". Nick asked.

"He was a demon hunter as your uncle might Have told you, he track down demons to stop them from penetrating evil, there was a time in this city when everyone lived in fear because of the mysterious death caused by this demons but your father took it as a legacy to fight them down and now we live in peace with no attack but at a cause. Every demon hunter has a unique power which flows down the bloodline from your fore father's to your great grand fathers, your grand father and then your father, it's their duty to hunt down this demons with the powers in them, but they weren't born with this power. As soon as the current holder of the power dies, the power leaves him and find the son to posses him until he finds one, so after your grand dad died his powers where automatically transferred To your father but not like that, the power posses the individual when there's an incoming crises, after your grand dad die, your father didn't possess it immediately until 3 months when he strange things starts happening to him, nightmares and doing things against his will, that was when the power possessed him because there was an incoming crises and just a week later a wave of demons where resurrected by a crazy magician, it took time before your father knew that he was the chosen one to stop this demons ". Mr. Frank explained.

" Now i understand what Uncle Harry is talking about". Nick said.

"Sir i had a terrible nightmare today and strange things have been happening, i threw an object at my teacher involuntarily and leaving the Class, the door broke down what's happening to me ". Nick asked.

" What? What dream was it about a desert? ". Mr. Frank asked.

" Shit! ". He cursed out..

" Sir you haven't really told me how my father died? ". Nick said.

" He managed to find a way to trap all the demons in a prison called Lebanon And died doing it". Mr. Frank said.

"You said you had a nightmare about a desert And strange things are happening to you? That's same thing that happened to Robert i hope it not what am thinking". Mr. Frank said.

"What are you thinking?". Nick asked shakily.

"That you're the next Demon Hunter". Robert said.

"Sir I don't understand you?". Nick said.

"All the events happening to you that's exactly what happened when your father got possessed by the power to carry on the legacy". Mr. Frank said.

"No no no. Maybe it's just a coincidence". Nick said.

"What's else nick? Your father is dead that means you're the next in the bloodline". Mr. Frank said.

"So are you trying to tell me that am now possessed by the powers of my father, that's really funny". Nick said laughing.

"This isn't funny kid, Is throwing an object at your teacher funny". Mr. Frank asked.

"No no no. It can't be be, am still a kid and whereas you said it possesses the next person when there's an incoming crises". Nick said.

"So?". Mr. Frank asked.

"There's no crises anymore my father all ready locked up all the demons". Nick said.

"Not all". Mr. Frank said with head down.

"Huh?".

"Not all the demons were locked, one of them Couldn't be captured, your father died trying to take him to the prison of Lebanon, The Demon Of Deception ". Mr. Frank said.

" Demon of Deception? Who's he? ". Nick asked sweating.

" The King Of The Demons ". Mr. Frank said angrily.
