One hundred and eight: No need for apologies

There was no avoiding his fate. Whatever it was the world had laid down on the road that led to his success, he was going to survive and surpass it. He would surpass his own expectations.

'So what? She is standing right there so close to me, that's fine. Our destinies had always been intertwined from the start and bumping into her should hold no effect on me. She will definitely have a part to play in my triumph, either good or bad. So I am only expecting more of her.'

Ivan tried to convince himself not to be moved by her presence though the words he told himself all seemed like utter nonsense. Their destinies were intertwined? It was all part of his fate? Where was he going exactly?

He knew he didn't have a point or rather he made no sense in his head. But that was what he believed.

But there was this look in her eyes that almost brought him to his knees. That almost made him break down and fall apart, bursting into tears uncontrollably.
