One of those guards shoved Curtis forcefully, making him step back several paces. He felt deeply offended. He clenched his fist tightly but couldn't retaliate.

Curtis decided to walk away to find another way into the cemetery. As the hours passed, Joseph's burial drew closer.

Joseph's coffin traveled in a special carriage personally paid for by Charles Ballmer, followed by a whole caravan of black cars.

Beth rode alone with Baxter, complaining throughout the journey about how annoying it was to be in that place. Alfred sat in the back and simply listened to the conversation between Beth and Baxter.

"I want that old man buried once and for all," Beth calmly applied makeup in the rearview mirror as Baxter drove.

"We're almost there," Baxter replied without looking at her.

"I can already taste that immense fortune," Beth celebrated, leaning back in her seat, daydreaming about Joseph's inheritance.
