Laura was getting furious and almost couldn't control her anger but Brain just shook his head and pulled her away.

“Did you see that?” the salesperson said to no one in particular after Brian and Laura had left the room “Even a seven-hundred-dollar necklace was too much for him. Was I wrong to tell him off?

Laura tried to tell Brain that the more expensive jewelry was kept on the store's floor.

“ I think when people come down the stairs with the heavy jewelry box other people can look at them enviously,” she thought.

“It's kind of like showing off your gown on the red carpet, I just think he knows what he's doing”.

Brain and Laura entered the room on the top floor “Are you crazy!” She whispered to him “Even the cheapest stuff here is way more than we can afford.

“It's fine, I just wanna look around,” he said.

Laura didn't say anything else because she had never even dared to go up there before now.

She gaped at the expensive pieces made with twenty-four pure Gold and gemston
