The room erupted in chaos as Sophia’s grandfather’s face turned ashen, his hand trembling on the head of his cane.

“Michael!” he roared, his voice strained yet furious.

“How dare you make such a decision on behalf of this family!”

However Michael flinched but stood his ground.

“Grandfather, I’m only trying to protect us—”

“Protect us?” the old man spat, his voice rising.

“You’re throwing away everything we stand for! Do you understand what you’re risking, you're a disgrace to this family?”

Immediately he pointed at him.

“I forbid you to say anymore words.”

Seeing the deadly look on his grandfather's face and his words.
