Chapter One Hundred and Eight

Ava stood there watching Henry as he got into his car and swallowed hard.

She started to feel a bit hopeful when he didn't drive away immediately, she was wondering what was going through his mind and why he stayed back there. Maybe he would come back to her and give a chance not to explain. She thought to herself as she stood there watching his car while trying to fight the tears that were threatening to burst out of her eyes at any moment.

She did not just feel disappointed when he drove away, she felt equally dejected and felt like her life was about to come to an end. If only he had given her the chance to explain.

Slowly, she retraced her steps backwards with shaky legs and went over to sit on the bench Henry had been sitting on before she arrived.

The corner of her eyes stung, no matter how she tried to hold onto it, it stung even more and burned till she could take it no more. Soon, she was unable to hold back the tears and they began flooding out of her eyes like a volcano of
