Chapter One Hundred and Nine

Ava strolled around her room with a heavy heart. She soon stopped in front of her mirror and stood there to stare back at her reflection. Her eyes were red as she stared back at them. It seemed like she had been crying for a very long time. She picked up her from the table and stared at the blank screen for a few seconds until her vision blurred out.

She sighed deeply and walked towards her bed. She sat there and stared at her screen again. She placed her finger on the fingerprint sensor.

She scrolled through the app and tapped on her phone book. Henry's number was the first, second, and third number displayed there.

She called him three times about three hours ago, another three times about an hour ago, and once, a few seconds ago. She sighed deeply and dialled Henry's number one more time. She wasn't expecting him to pick up, but she kept calling.
