Chapter One Hundred and Six

"How did the meeting go?" Mr Timothy asked Madame Gu who was leaning backwards on her table.

They were now sitting in her office and having a conversation which seemed to be serious. To the point that Madame Gu didn't even bother changing her clothes before she went straight to her office. Henry had gone upstairs with a long face because he didn't want to be bothered about the meeting.

There were some files in front of them which they both went through occasionally.

"It went well." Madame Gu said and took a long sip from the glass of wine in front of her. "I was able to get most of the major shareholders over to my side, they were willing to join me. I also found out that a good number of them were loyal to my late husband."
