Chapter Twenty One

Ava was standing in front of the sitting room. She was about to open the door and walk into the house, but she was undecided as to when she would do that since she wasn't sure of where her father was at the moment.

She decided not to take chances. She walked towards the small door leading to the hallway. It was the only way she could sneak into the house without being seen by her father. Once she walked into the house, she first sighted her father seated in the sitting room. Her heart sank into her stomach immediately when she saw her father seated there in the sitting room.

She sighed deeply when she looked closer, and realized that he was already asleep. She thought that he must have slept off while watching the show that was being shown on the large screen.

She stared at the screen for a while. It was a boring show to her and she wondered why her father found the show interesting.
