Chapter Twenty Two

Ava stood in front of her mirror as she admired her beauty. She applied a dark red lipstick and a black eye pencil around her eyes. She smiled in front of her mirror and winked.

She was not satisfied yet with her looks. She felt like she needed a change of dress. She walked back to her dressing room and began to check through the dresses. She looked down at herself and tried to convince herself that her look was okay.

She walked back to her dressing mirror and reapplied her lipstick. She picked up the perfume and sprayed around her dress. Ava knew that the scent was okay because she already applied body sprays and perfumes earlier, yet she still felt like they were not enough.

Ava sat down in front of her dressing table and placed her face in her palm. She began to wonder why she was putting in so much effort to dress up for her meeting with Henry.

She didn't like him, and there was actually nothing real going on with them, so why was she trying so hard to look good? Ava knew that
