Lucas sat in Aslaug's home as he was being watched by Aslaug and Kriemhild as they looked at each other, not knowing what to make of the situation in front of them as he had a troubled look on his face.

"So, why are you here?" Aslaug asked him as she was curious.

"A spell that I had used to warn me about danger activated and I don't know what the danger is." Lucas said to them as he looked at the two women.

"Wait, what kind of spell is that?" Kriemhild asked in surprise at hearing that.

"That is a spell that I had discovered in the past, but for it to be activated means that it is going to be very dangerous. Not to mention, the chance of me dying is also high." Lucas said causing the two to look at him in surprise.

"Truly?" Kriemhild asked in surprise, an emotion which was also mirrored by Aslaug.

"Yes, this particular spell I used will warn me about great dangers and when I am going to be in a situation where I could lose my life." Lucas said to them as he reclined on his chair.

"Does that spell have some sway on Fate? The Norns?" Aslaug asked him carefully as she knew about those deities.

"The Goddesses of Fate?" Kriemhild said in surprise when she heard that as she looked at Lucas in shock and surprise.

"I do not know how this spell works as there isn't much information regarding its origins, but it is an effective one. Not to mention, I am unable to look at Sweden with my magic due to someone blocking me." Lucas said to them as he frowned.

"But, isn't your magic unique? I wasn't aware that someone else would be able to block your view." Kriemhild said in surprise at hearing that piece of information.

"Yes well, I do not know everything, perhaps there was someone in the kingdom who knew magic, or someone new had come to the kingdom after its defeat, perhaps to gain profits from the situation." Lucas said to them as he thought about it.

"Profits?" Aslaug asked as she blinked in confusion at his words.

'Right. She doesn't have much knowledge on normal human society.' Lucas thought to himself as he looked at her.

"The kingdom of Sweden had lost a war against Norway, their archenemy so to speak. On top of the humiliation of being defeated, the fact that two of their dragons died was a blow to their military might, which could cause the other kingdoms to think that they are weak since I defeated their dragons alone." Lucas said to them with narrowed eyes.

"You humans always make things more complicated." Aslaug said to him as she crossed her arms with a sigh.

"I would disagree but I have to concur on that." Lucas said with a nod as he knew that humans had the habit of complicating simple situations.

'And considering how prince Eric had acted, it's safe to presume that whatever mage had decided to make their appearance in the kingdom has most likely met with him. Since they are knowledgeable and strong enough to actually block my magic, I fear that they might be even greater mage than I am.' Lucas thought to himself as he grew nervous at the thought.

It was a precarious situation for him. He didn't know what was happening in the other country, and he surely couldn't just walk into the other country, even if he did manage to deceive the ordinary people, who's to say that the mage won't notice him and try to use that opportunity to eliminate him.

He is currently unable to look at the other country despite countless tries, and he doesn't know if that mage is also watching him, but he did create a barrier across the entire area surrounding the royal castle and its territories which includes his own family territory as well.

The few advantages he has is that the truth about Aslaug being a demi goddess hasn't been revealed to another save Kriemhild, and he is thankful that Aslaug is listening to his words and not going around shouting her heritage. It would be a headache and a half to try to deal with it, moreover if the royal family were to get involved which would needlessly complicate things for him.

"What about the court mage? Could he do something?" Aslaug asked him as she looked at him.

"Well, he only came to know about a few of the spells of space magic after I gave the information to him. So I don't think he will be able to take care of the barrier surrounding the kingdom, though I don't think he has any reason to actually spy on the kingdom." Lucas said to them as he scratched his head in worry.

"Looks like you don't have any solutions for this situation, do you?" Aslaug asked him as she crossed her arms.

"With my magical knowledge. No, I don't have enough to know who is doing that, or what they're planning to do? They are certainly powerful without a doubt and they might have knowledge that would dwarf even mine if I'm being honest." Lucas said as he shook his head at the situation.

'I also have to put some of my operations on hold until I solve this issue. I need every single card I can play in my hands and under my sight.' Lucas thought to himself as he looked at Aslaug.

"What?" Aslaug asked as she saw him looking at her.

"I was just thinking that you are one of the only advantages I have when the situation arrives." Lucas said to her calmly.

"You really have quite the nerve to talk to me like that." Aslaug said as she frowned at his words.

"You already know that. Besides, aside from the two of us, no one actually knows that you are a demigoddess, which is something that I want to keep secret for as long as I can." Lucas said to her seriously.

"Because I am one of the things that the enemy shouldn't know?" Aslaug asked with a raised eyebrow at him.

"Yes. I do not know what kind of plan they are hatching, but keeping your secret is of great importance. As long as they think that they are dealing with humans, we can perhaps surprise them with you." Lucas said to her seriously.

"Well I suppose that is true. Few know how to deal with a demigoddess and far less had actually met with one after all. They aren't called myths for nothing." Kriemhild said to him with a nod as she understood the meaning of his thoughts.

"Even if this mysterious enemy doesn't know about me, do you think they won't be able to beat me. As much as I loathe to admit it, you defeated me after all. And if this person has far more knowledge and power than you have, then what is the chance that I would be able to defeat them?" Aslaug asked him as she looked at him with a frown.

"Of course, I had also taken into account that fact as well. I have some other things that I can use as well. But for the time being, I'm not going to reveal them." Lucas said to them as he looked at them.

"Well, I do hope that whatever you have will be of use." Kriemhild said to him when she heard that.

"Tch. If you want my help then you will need to tell me what your plan is. I know that you have a plan in mind or are in the process of one, aren't you?" Aslaug said to him with a frown.

"Yes, but I do not know if this plan will be enough, there are too many things I do not know which is making it difficult for me to form a plan of action." Lucas said to them as he sighed to himself and rubbed his head.

'I have also sent Alpha and the other boys to do some recon near the borders and to be careful about it and explicitly told them to not cross the border. I just hope that none of them feel adventurous, especially the younger one.' Lucas thought to himself as he thought about his subordinates.

He just hopes that he would be able to gain some information regarding the other country by looking at the place physically. Whether it would work or not is not going to be the issue since he does need to have a visual about the border, he doesn't know if using his magic will help, as he doesn't know if the mage had used magic to interfere with his vision as well.

'And I had only just dealt with a war as well. I need to prepare more since this isn't just a normal mage as well, but someone strong enough to actually block my magical vision.' Lucas thought to himself as he shivered a bit as he thought about the fact that perhaps he is being watched by the mage as well.

"Well, I do have the workings of a plan. Are you two interested in hearing it?" Lucas asked the two women as he looked at them.

"Of course, if it is a danger to you, then it might be a danger to me as well." Aslaug said to him as she crossed her arms.

"It would be beneficial." Kriemhild said to him with a nod as well.

"Alright then, then please make sure to keep your attention here." Lucas said to them as he cleared his throat and got ready to talk.

Eske frowned as he sat on his throne as the last defeat of their kingdom against their enemy country of Norway. He had thought that they would have been able to beat the kingdom with the dragons that they have with them, and considering the fact that he has his own court mage, he was fairly certain that they would have been able to defeat the army. But the sudden arrival of that boy and his help in the war changed the tides causing them to lose the war and the two dragons. He was obviously displeased with what had happened as he had just lost to their enemies which will be a blow to the pride of his family. But he is also a bit relieved as they have managed to come to an agreement which isn't too exploitive. The fact that the contract was good enough to allow for them to maintain their rule was a good thing, even if they have to give the other kingdom money monthly and also have to give up the rights of the crystal cave as well. There was also the fact that it took a lot of thei

Lucas looked at the Alpha who is standing in front of him seriously as the man is looking at him a bit nervously while being looked at by Lucas very seriously. Lucas is the de facto leader of the boys and when he isn't leading them and giving them jobs then it's his duty to make sure that they work correctly. "So you got nothing unusual to report?" Lucas asked him seriously as he sat in his chair. "No sir. We did a check just as you had told us to, but we haven't found anything unusual happening inside the country. Even in the other noble families or around the royal palace." Alpha said to him seriously with a nod. Lucas narrowed his eyes at that as he reclined on the chair he is sitting on as he closed his eyes and thought about it. "My Lord, is this truly the right course of action." A soldier asked Eric as the group of soldiers were walking through a cave tunnel. "Yes. This is the way to get back the respect that I had lost because of our enemies." Eric said to him with a glare at the soldiers. The soldier's flinched at his glare as they knew that they couldn't and shouldn't do anything that might anger him. After all, as the prince of their kingdom, he can do anything he wants to them as he so wished. So doing anything to displease him as it might be dangerous to them. They also don't know what it is that their prince wants to find for himself in the cave, but as soldiers it is their duty to follow his orders and so that is what they are doing. "Now that's a good boy." Lucas said as he was petting Falkor. He is currently flying with the wyvern as he wanted to make sure that he had the ability to fly freely without anyone being afraid of it attacking. Even if he is his wyvern, the people will naturally be scared about a creature of its size. But he didn't mind it that much as he enjoyed flying with Falkor, as it was a way for him to be alone from his otherwise noble life. It is good, he will admit and having people around him and treating him with respect is a good thing, but sometimes he just wants to be left alone to enjoy some time alone. He looked at the kingdom from above and it was a bit cloudy so the people probably hadn't noticed them. Not to mention the fact that people don't usually look up so it would work in his favour. He has also been having his boys keep a watch around the kingdom for any kind of suspicious movement. Considering how the prince has acted, he doesn't want to let down his guard in case the

Eric threw the glass of alcohol across the room as it shattered after hitting the wall as the four maids who were serving him flinched from the violent action as they looked at him with slight fear. But the prince himself didn't care about their reactions as he had a pissed off expression as he glared at the wall. "My reputation has been tarnished and that damned boy is hailed as a hero!" Eric shouted in anger as the maids flinched again from his loud voice. After the end of the war, Eric's reputation in the kingdom had plummeted, no surprise that it has happened of course, as it was him who had decided to start the war with the other country. And their country has lost the war and was humiliated and lost two dragons under their control. And have also been shown to be inferior to their enemy, which has hurt the sentiments of many of the country as well. The other noble families of the kingdom were also of the same mind as they didn't like the fact that they had been defeated,
