CHAPTER 119

Damnit! She shrieked.

It was Paul - her boss.

Her mind was racing with a deadly rhythm of fear and her heartbeat was a drumbeat of panic.

“Hello, hello, Ms. Turner, are you still there?” the receiver’s voice from the phone which had fallen to the ground erupted into the air.

“Hello, hello, hello.”

The line soon disconnected after a few unanswered hellos.

Paul gestured menacingly with sharp and aggressive dark eyes, his hand slicing through the air in command for her to use her feet to toss the phone over.

Ms. Turner’s brain was refusing to accept the reality of what she was seeing and her emotions were a river of fear and confusion.

What was her boss looking for in her house pointing a gun toward her? What the hell was happening? What does he know? Did he know that she was an undercover employee? Did he already know that she was a member of Kazitanis?

Ms. Turner’s mind was filled with unanswered questions.
