CHAPTER 40

“Okay, okay, Listen to me. Let's start here, what is your name?” Paul asked.

“Camille.”

“Alright Nurse Camille, I need you to take a breath. Take it in, take it out,” Paul urged Camille, leading her through the way as she tried to breathe in and breathe out.

“Take it in, breath out—-take it in, breath out,” Paul led Camille through the procedure for almost 90 seconds before she started feeling a little better.

Her hands were still fidgety but at least she didn't look like she was going to faint the next minute anymore.

She soon folded her fists to absorb the pressure. “Hey, look. Paul or whatever your name is—since I started my career almost 10 years ago, I have never had a patient who gives me as much trouble as you have done.”

“What do you mean? You agreed to come down here with me.”

“Oh, are you now going to pin this on me?” the nurse flared her nostrils.

“No, no—I am not trying to pin anything on you. I appreciate you coming down here.”

“Which was a huge mistake,” the nurse cut in
