CHAPTER 51. VISITATION.

The following day, Diane parked her car swiftly at her father's mansion. As she stepped out, she hurried inside, spotting her mom engrossed in a TV series.

"Hey, Mom," she greeted quickly, barely waiting for a response before dashing up the stairs.

After a few minutes, Diane glanced at the clock—it read 4:09 pm. She sighed, hastily adjusting her wig.

Swiftly, she adorned herself with jewelry and makeup, hoping to catch up with Ryder; she was already running late. Spritzing on some feminine deodorant and cologne, she grabbed her Chanel bag and rushed downstairs.

"How do I look?" She twirled confidently in a 360 circle in front of her mom.

Mrs. Freya's face lit up with pride. "You look fabulous, honey," she remarked with a beaming smile.

"Good luck, and keep it classy," Mrs. Freya called out as Diane hurried out of the house towards her car.
