"permission granted," Maverick said without thinking. He wanted to see what this plunder ability was exactly. [ Permission acquired, Plunder ability activated] Instantly, Two blue light Vortex came out of Maverick's body and moved toward the dead bodies of Danny and Dawn before enveloping them and engulfing them in a crazy devouring force that plundered all of the lingering essence and spirit energy in their fresh dead bodies. At a rate visible to the naked eye, the two bodies shrank rapidly until nothing was left of them except for their cloths and belongings and their grey skeletons that crumbled into dust. After plundering the essence and spiritual energy contained within the bodies of Danny and Dawn, the two Vortex returned to Maverick's body, and all the essence and spiritual energy rushed into his body. In an instant, Maverick felt his body over flowing with dense spiritual energy and essence, which caused his evolution to continue once again. In a shot moment, a cracking sound resonated in his body as he levelled up into the seventh level of the variant awakening realm. The advancement didn't stop from there. Another cracking sound resonated as he levelled up into the eight. After reaching the eighth level, the advancement began to slow down rapidly until the spiritual energy and essences he had plundered were completely used up. Although his advancement had stopped before reaching the eight levels, Maverick could sense that he only needed a little more push to break the ninth shackle and reach the ninth level of the variant immortal realm After his successive level ups, Maverick had a refreshing feeling wash over him, not only did his evolution level increased but his physical body's strength had reached an all known high level thanks to the essence which enhanced his bodies toughness. Maverick couldn’t help but smile as he thought of how marvellous the Plunder system ability was, that was because with the Plunder ability, he doesn't have to worry about talent or time like the other Evolvers, as long as he has enough essence and spiritual energy to plunder, he will rapidly rise in the ranking and trample upon his enemies. With this thought in mind, Maverick turn to stare at Sebastian who's body was once again shivering, the fear he felt after seeing Maverick devour Danny's and Dawn's bodies had overwhelmed the pain he felt all over his body. After taking a glance at Sebastian, Maverick withdrew his gaze and went to the place where the remains of Danny and Dawn were, picking up the important things they left behind. Maverick unravelled their cloths and searched their pockets only to find some miscellaneous things like men spray, clips, and others that weren't any useful to him. The only useful thing he could find was a bottle filled with some healing pill and a silver silk rope in Dawn's pocket used to tie heavy objects. After he was done looting, Maverick tied the axe unto his waste using the silver rope and picked up Danny's spear. "After doing that, Maverick went on to pick up Sebastian's sickle and tied it on the other side of his waste. Maverick raised the spear and ruthlessly stabbed it into the left side of Sebastian's abdomen, making sure that he didn't stab any vital organ. When he withdrew the spear, blood started rushing out of Sebastian's abdomen. He was in so much pain but wouldn't die immediately. He could only let out cries of pain. Maverick pressed his hand into Sebastian's pockets, bringing out all of the good things in him, however all he got were two mesh donuts and a tethered old book which had some cultivation related words recorded on them. Maverick put the book in his pocket and ate all the doughnuts before grabbing Sebastian's leg and dragging him along as he walked forth to leave the valley. On the way forward, Sebastian screamed in pain as his wounded body rubbed on the rough rocky surface of the ground, but Maverick ignored all of his squeals. To Sebastian's suffering, Maverick was totally indifferent. Although Maverick wasn't happy torturing Sebastian because he wasn't a psychopath or a sadist, he couldn't allow Sebastian to have an easy death, not after what had happened to his parents. Danny and Dawn should thank God that they had died swiftly because of the situation at that time. Otherwise, they'll also face the same miserable faith. Sebastian went from crying out in pain to begging for mercy and then cursing and insulting Maverick all the way back to crying and yelling in pain once again. Maverick was totally silent on the way as he listened to the cries, please, and yelling, he kept on walking steadily while dragging Sebastian's injured body along with him. He wasn't going to kill Sebastian with his own hands. He wanted Sebastian to continue feeling the pain of having his heavily injured body dragged along in the road while slowly bleeding to death. At one point in time, Maverick totally decided to ignore Sebastian and log into the system's status bar with a thought. After checking his knew status, Maverick tapped on the Plunder ability to see more information on it. [ Plunder: the ability to steal from others, valuable aspects that are unique on the body and soul and use it to nourish and enhance oneself] [ plunder settings] 1. Active plunder : System activates ability when the requirement is reached but will need Host's permission to be granted each time to activate ability. 2. Automatic plunder : The ability will automatically activate when the condition is reached unless Host halts the process by saying 'Stop'. Maverick clicked on the second setting option after reading through them, it would be much better for him for the Plunder ability to automatically activate on its own than having to repeatedly hear the system notifications like last time. After doing this, Maverick logged out of the system, and as soon as he did, he heard a weak voice behind him pleading for death. On the way, when Maverick entered the system status bar, Sebastian had fainted up to five times and woke up again all due to the immense pain all over his body and also due to blood loss. Sebastian's experience was to the point where he now has a total mental breakdown, and only death was his escape from this hell. And so he kept on begging for death. Unfortunately, Maverick couldn’t hear him, and even if he did, he wouldn’t care. If it were an ordinary person, they would have long been dead by now, but Sebastian was an Evolver, someone who was far stronger and more evolved than ordinary humans. A couple of hours later, Maverick reached the slop to which he could climb up to the settlement which he had run away from. At this moment, Sebastian went totally silent, and all signs of life disappeared from his body. The instant he died, a vortex emerged from Mavericks body and plundered his spiritual energy and essence and injected them into Maverick’s body. Once again, the feeling of evolving soon filled Maverick.
