Chapter 14

Aiden woke up, he saw a large room, beside which was a large glass window. He tried to sit up but his whole body ached. He looked for his cell phone, and found it on the nightstand. He tried to pick it up, but he couldn't reach it. Someone walked in making him turn his head in surprise.

The old man walked over, Aiden became wary. There was nothing he could do but stare at the man.

"Who do you want to call?" the old man asked.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the one who helped you." The man handed him the cell phone. "Think about what happens if you call someone."

Aiden gave him a confused look. He gripped the phone tightly. He had to contact Eri immediately. But he had no idea where he was right now.

"But I'm glad you finally woke up." The man turned around, he stared out the window. The sun's rays were shining in that room.
