Chapter 15

Aiden saw them enter a room. He remained alert to his surroundings; he had no idea how many people were in this house.

But when he put his ear to the door, Aiden couldn't hear anything. His hand started to itch to open the door, but he could lose his hand if he did that.

Aiden backed away as soon as he heard the sound of steps, he was so fast. If Aiden fell or was a little late, the bodyguard could have seen him turn.

"What should I do?" Aiden walked back and forth. He couldn't stay in this house, it was too risky.

He sat on the bed and checked Eri's social media and found no updates from her. Then the Knote app vibrated and appeared on the screen briefly. It was a sign that he had a new task to do.

Aiden opened it immediately. Knote offered him borrowing a position for a certain period of time, but he had to complete several missions.
