Chapter Seventy-nine
Jackson ducked behind a wooden crate as bullets whizzed past his head.

He could hear Alexander's voice shouting orders to his men, who surrounded the shed from all sides.

He glanced at Fernando, who was crouching next to him, clutching his wounded arm. They were outnumbered and outgunned, and they had nowhere to run.

"Un...under the rug," a weak voice said from behind them. Jackson and Fernando turned to look at Madeline, who was lying on a cot in the corner of the shed.

Fernando crawled to the center of the shed, where a large rug covered the floor. He shifted the table that was on top of it and pulled the rug aside.

To Jackson's surprise, there was a metal hatch underneath, with a padlock on it. Madeline tossed him a key from her pocket, and he quickly unlocked the hatch. He opened it and gasped at what he saw.

Inside the compartment, there were stacks of ammunition, grenades, C4 explosives, and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher.
