The small crowd gasped as the SUV crashed into Alexander's saloon car and virtually crushed it. Alexander was furious. He looked at his newest ride, it was worth a lot of money. Even if his father was rich and could afford a new one, he knew it would not be so soon, his father would be furious and may never replace the car for him.
Alexander stormed to the car to confront the driver and ask for compensation or threaten him. But as he arrived there, he saw that it was a girl in front of the car and she was the most beautiful creature he'd seen in a very long time. Ella paled in comparison to her.
"Oh," he simply said as the girl stared at him almost daringly.
Alexander was lost for words, he did not know what to say to her anymore despite his initial anger at her reckless driving.
He smiled sheepishly and tried to act like the car was nothing.
"What is it?" She asked rudely despite crashing his car, she didn't look apologetic at all.
"There's no need for compensation, I'm sure we can talk something out." He said with a toothy smile and winked at her.
The girl glared at him, turning her nose down in disgust. "Why would I want to talk anything out with you, you look like a troll." She retorted in irritation and walked past him directly to Jackson.
Alexander fumed at her sauciness and sneered at her but she did not pay any attention to him. She walked to Jacksons and gave him a hug, whispering in his ears.
"Welcome back, god King." She said softly.
Jackson smiled at her in admiration and replied, "You've always been so reckless, Pamela, I was hoping you would change by now." He said good naturedly.
"Well, you know me." Pamela replied with a smile.
Ella had a glare on her face as she stared at the duo, wondering who she was and what relationship she had with her ex husband. She was so angry that someone as beautiful and looking so wealthy like Pamela would be associated with Jackson whom she believed was a nobody.
Alexander sneered at them and began to rant about her having to pay damages for his ruined car. Pamela ignored him completely and began to discuss with Jackson in a low tone.
"Who is this and what does she want?" Ella asked, moving out of Alexander's hold.
Jackson frowned at her and smiled, "You do not have the right to ask such questions anymore, Ella, don't you think so?" He asked.
Ella sneered and stomped her feet angrily, looking down her nose at Pamela and then she turned to glare at Jackson.
"So you have been cheating on me too? You are a worthless scum for doing this! You have no shame! How could you disrespect me and have an affair with another woman?" She accused him openly.
"I have never cheated on you." Jackson said with a blank look at her display.
"Oh really, then how do you explain her? Why is she hugging you openly and why are you talking like you know each other before?" She demanded.
Jackson sneered at her, looking between her and Alexander. "Isn't this man with you? Are you not a hypocrite to ask me questions about Pamela when you have Alexander right beside you and even introduced him as your new man? You're pathetic!" Jackson replied with a frown.
Ella knew she had nothing to say in defense but she still insisted that Jackson was a cheat and he had never loved her.
Jackson simply shook his head at her tantrum but did not respond to her. Pamela looked mad, she wanted to jump in and defend Jackson but he held her back and shook his head, telling her it was not worth it.
Pamela suddenly smiled and went to the car, returning with a large bag and several boxes. She walked to Ella and gave her a convincing smile.
"No, Ella, you see, Jackson and I are simply long time friends, he isn't cheating on you at all." She assured her with a loving smile.
Ella still glared at her and replied, "How do you know him? He has never told me about any Pamela and you certainly don't look like just friends."
Pamela smiled and told her that she wasn't competition in any way. "In fact, I'm Jackson's personal assistant, I came here with a few presents for Jackon's wife." She stated and handed the bag to Ella.
Ella looked at the bag skeptically and then back at Alexander who was taking in the whole scene with anger and a bit of confusion.
"When do you have a personal assistant? You spent your money on this woman?" Ella yelled.
"Come on, won't you see what is inside?" Pamela asked and Ella finally took the bag from her and the box.
She opened it and gasped at the content. It was filled with designer bags and shoes from famous brands and each one was the newest and still in vogue.
"Really? This is all for me?" She asked excitedly, the frown and glare automatically wiped off her face.
Pamela nodded and Ella smiled and excitedly looked at each one, gushing at the feel and designs.
"These are so beautiful, I can already see how I would pair them with my latest shoes." Ella chirped excitedly.
Still overwhelmed by the fancy present, she moved in to hug Pamela but Pamela nudged her away and held out her hands.
"Not so fast, let me introduce for you first." She said and took the bags and boxes from her.
Pamela took out a handbag, it looked so fancy and beautiful, apparently it was much more expensive than the one she took now.
"A limited edition from the best designer in the world, only 998 pieces was made, and in this country, only 10 people were qualified to purchase it..." Pamela showed the handbag to Ella.
Ella was shocked, she had never seen such a luxurious thing before.
"But...now there are only 997 pieces in the world now." Pamela smiled and she took out a scissor, cut this handbag into pieces.
"What are you doing! You ruined my bag!" Ella screamed, as if she has already possessed that bag.
But Pamela ignored her, she took out a bottle of perfume, the bottle was so shiny and beautiful, obviously it was made by crystal.
"Another limited edition, the most expensive perfume in the world..." Pamela showed it to Ella.
"Give it to me!" Ella tried to grab that perfume from Pamela's hand, Pamela avoided her hands.
Then she threw that bottle of perfume on the ground. The perfume broke into pieces, everyone could smell the brilliant fragrance of that perfume.
"Ouch, I didn't hold it properly!" Pamela smiled ironically to Ella.
Ella was furious, she was sure that Pamela was playing tricks on her.
"And this..."
Pamela took out a black card from her pocket. "This is a custom black card from Supreme Bank, it's only for those who have at least 100 million dollars of cash..."
"It's mine!" Ella screamed, she pounced on Pamela and tried to grab that card.
But again, Pamela avoided her and she fell on the ground in embarrassment.
"Yeah, they should have been yours, but...look at this!" Pamela smiled, she held the certificate of divorce, showed it to Ella.
She took another bag, there were several other handbags in it. Obviously they were not such expensive as that limited edition, but each piece was more expensive than Ella's.
"These presents were meant for Jackson's wife and from what I've seen, you both just got divorced, so you can't keep them." Pamela said with a nasty smile.
"What is the meaning of this? These are all fakes! Jackson could never be able to afford them." Ella said.
"But like I said, you can't have them because you're no longer his wife."
Pamela concluded and pulled out a fancy lighter from her purse, she grabbed the boxes and moved away, she snapped open her lighter, and set the entire box.
"This is madness!" Ella screamed foolishly as she watched the flames engulf the boxes. She was furious and she glared at Pamela threateningly. "You have no idea what you've just done! You don't know who you are__" Pamela sneered at her, "Last time I checked, you aren't anyone significant." She snapped and then waved her aside like she didn't matter. "He isn't in my class! You can have him for all I care, I have a better man by my side."Ella retorted with a glare. Even as she spoke, she knew all too well that Pamela was way above her league, and the bags she'd just burnt to spite her could very well change her entire wardrobe. "I think that's ironic, you are not in his league." Pamela replied offhandedly, she swayed to Jackson, "Come on, let us go." She said and invited him to the car. Jackson followed without a second glance at Ella and they drove off speedily. As the duo drove off, Ella stomped and cursed, embarrassed at the entire scene. She wondered how Jackson co
Jackson decided to ignore her rude behavior, it was after all that last time he would have to with her stoic and cold attitude. He also entered Sophia's office and shut the door. She turned to him with a frown as she saw him inside. She wondered what he was doing, was she trying to ask for more bonus, or had that display for the fat man put some ideas in his head about actually asking her out? "You don't have to follow me like you're a lost puppy, I said I will give you a bonus for what you did out there and I will add that to your salary at the end of the month." She snapped impatiently and lifted her beautiful face to glare at him. "Now leave, I have work to do and you're interfering." Jackson shook his head calmly and replied, "I am not here to ask for the bonus." She frowned, wondering if the few seconds of affection display could have gotten into his head and given him stupid ideas about actually being with her. "Then what are you doing here?" She snapped arrogant
Jackson laughed at her words, he found her tantrum amusing and he could not wait to prove to her that she was wrong. He walked to her and lifted her chin with his fingers. He knew how lowly she thought of him and her status as the boss of the company made her unable to believe that he could help the company in any way. Sophia was shocked at his actions, he knew him only as a lowly worker, a loser, and a coward, how could he dare to speak nonsense and then touch her? What was he up to and when did he grow the balls to address her so casually? With a cocky smile, he said, "I accept your terms, you have got yourself a deal." He said. "You can go ahead and transfer the money you need." "Put your hands off me, you have no idea what you're talking about, get out of my office, Jackson." She snapped. "Are you going back on your words so soon?" He asked, arching his brows. Sophia bared her teeth at him and slammed her fist on the table, angry at what he'd just said. "I do
Jackson looked at Sophia, his smirk still intact, he could see her shocked expression and he was amused because she was dumbfounded. "So, when do we go to register for our marriage? Do you have any location in mind? Color?" He asked with an amused smile. Sophia was not aware of all he said, she was so shocked that her mind wandered far from the present. How could Jackson possibly have so much money and also own such an exclusive card? Who was he? Why did he want to give her so much money? She wondered silently. Jackson waved a hand at her face and finally snapped her out of her reverie. Sophia snapped out of it with a jerk and looked at him curiously. "I'm asking when you would love our wedding to be held, remember what you promised earlier." He asked with a cocky smile. Sophia blushed, she didn't know what to say in response. She looked down at her desk and almost admitted that she was only joking because she could not believe that he had such an amount of mone
Jackson finally agreed to her offer to become a part of her company. "This technically makes me the owner of the company, you know that right? And I know that this company is your treasure, you value it." He said. Sophia nodded and replied without hesitation, "The treasure would have been ruined if not for your help, I know it's best this way." She replied. Jackson smiled at her, he was just getting to see her fun side, Sophia looked even more beautiful when she wasn't wearing the cold face that everyone knew her for. "I still want you to oversee the company, don't worry, I won't mess up the management or try to take charge, I know you've been handling the company well, this is just on paper, no one has to know about it." He said. Sophia thought for a few seconds and then nodded, "I trust you, Jackson." She replied with a soft smile. No matter how long she worried or the connections she had, she knew she could not have single-handedly settled the crisis as quickly as Ja
At the police station, Ella sat closely with Alexander by a little desk, eating from a tray of sliced fruits. Many officers surrounded them, cheering them on and acting like sycophants. "Don't worry, master, we will be sure that he regrets the day he ever dared to offend you, I'm sure he'll be begging and crying for mercy once we're done." The cop said with a wide smile. "I trust you'll teach that loser a lesson of his life," Ella replied with a wicked smile. "He'll grovel and beg for mercy and then we'll see who the real badass is." Alexander retorted with a smile. He wanted to keep impressing Ella and he wanted the beautiful girl to compensate him for his loss while he thoroughly humiliated Jackson too. At this time, the gates of the station opened and the officer they'd sent drove in with Jackson in the backseat. The car opened and Jackson stepped out with his hands before him, handcuffed. Ella smiled at the sight and Alexander was very pleased that finally, he'd had
In a matter of minutes, after that call was made, hundreds of soldiers were being assembled at the base, and shortly after, a fleet of armored vehicles drove out of the base, heading to the police station. In one of the cars, an older man in a general's attire looked at his junior officer and said that he was surprised at the alarm. "It has been a very long time since the god King left us, no one has ever checked his file." He said and thought for a second, "I'm wondering who it is and what they want with that information." Even though he knew that the information on the file had been altered to protect the god king's true identity, he was one of the most important men in the country and he could not be toyed with. "Drive faster, we must quickly get to the god King." The general commanded the driver. Meanwhile, at the station, two ruthless police officers were with Jackson in the interrogation room. Ella walked in with a smile and looked at him without saying a word, her face
The chief frowned, “The army?” Jackson thought out loud, “Yes, sir. and it looks like they mean business,” the young officer saysJackson got up and followed the officer to the front door. As he stepped outside, he felt a chill run down his spine. Jackson saw dozens of armed soldiers, wearing black uniforms and helmets, pointing their guns at the station. They had parked several armored vehicles and tanks around the building, blocking any escape routes. The chief felt a wave of fear and confusion. And Jackson wondered if this was some kind of coup or martial law. He looked around, hoping to see a familiar face or a sign of explanation. Jackson saw no one he knew, only hostile and menacing eyes.Pamela walked into the station dressed in all-black, leather high-heeled boots, a leather jacket, and black pants and complemented it with dark sunglasses. She walked like she could kill a hundred men with one look. She ignored the officers and the police chief who made way for her by stepping
