Chapter 11

Although both of his parents had agreed to Arnold's invitation, the man realized that his parents actually seemed hesitant to do it.

Since earlier Arnold had been watching the movements of his parents. He felt something sad seeing the changes that had happened to his parents.

In the past they had never lived in hardship. But now Arnold had to witness his parents who were used to a very simple life. He was even sure that his parents might be used to enduring the pain they felt. And realizing all that really hurt Arnold's heart.

His parents walked with full of doubt. Even several times his father turned to look at Arnold. The old man touched his son's hand. "Arnold I think this is really unnecessary. Dad is fine."

"Your father said the right thing. We don't need to go." His mother tried to convince Arnold.

But at this time Arnold ignored their words. He continued to convince his parents that they should still go.

They were already in the car. But at this time, Diana kept staring at the car they were wearing.

Although Diana did not know for sure, she knew that the car was a luxury car that had a very expensive price. Of course this invited many questions in her heart.

She looked at Arnold. Her son had just gotten out of prison a few days ago, so how could Arnold bring this car.

At this time, worry made Diana feel uneasy. "Arnold How did you get this car?"

Arnold smiled softly. "Of course I can, mother."

Arnold did not want to give any explanation to his mother where he got the car from. As he had discussed with Paulus if no one needed to know about this.

But at this time Diana's expression suddenly changed. "That doesn't want to see you back in prison at all." Her voice soared.

Diana had felt enough life without Arnold for 4 years. She only went through her hard times with her husband. And now she just wants to live with her whole family.

"Arnold, don't steal." Diana showed sadness in her eyes. She really couldn't imagine if Arnold would go back to prison.

The old woman couldn’t hide her sadness at all. “Mom doesn’t want to see you ruined at all. If you go back to jail, we’ll really feel sad.”

Arnold shook his head. “Mom, calm down. It’s not like you think.”

“This is my friend’s car. And I borrowed it. So you don’t have to worry about anything.” Arnold tried to convince his parents. “He’s very kind. And that’s why he lent me this car.”

Diana was silent for a moment. “Really?”

Arnold nodded his head. “Yes, Mom. Even now I’m working.”

“Trust me that I didn’t do anything wrong.” Arnold reassured his mother.

His mother was silent. She blinked her eyes repeatedly thinking about what her son had said. Although she knew that her son was a good man, Diana couldn’t lie to herself that there was fear in her heart.

“Are you telling the truth?”

Before Arnold could answer, Adam looked at his wife. “I know that Arnold is a good man.”

The old man sighed. “Even though he was in prison, I am very sure that there must be a reason. You shouldn’t worry about your son.”

Arnold nodded his head. “Yes, Dad is right.”

Adam was very surprised to hear Arnold’s answer. Thinking about it made his heart worry. He realized that something bad had happened to his son.

But before his father said anything, Arnold immediately spoke, “You don’t need to worry about anything because everything will be over soon.”

His father did not understand what his son said at all. But he hoped that Arnold’s kindness would bring him continued good fortune.

Until after a while they arrived at the hospital.

His mother and father were very surprised when they saw that Arnold took them to a very large hospital. Once again their hearts were filled with doubt. He knew that getting treatment at the hospital would require a lot of money.

Arnold realized his parents' doubts. He immediately got down and opened the door for his father. He even helped his father get down and sit in the wheelchair.

"Are you sure we're going to be here?" His mother looked at Arnold.

Arnold nodded his head. "As I said, you don't need to worry about anything. I'm here."

His mother felt very uncomfortable there. She knew that this would be burdensome for Arnold. But Arnold's touch on her hand made her nod. Until finally they immediately entered the hospital.

In the room, tension occurred for a moment. "What do you mean? My father and mother have to wait a week later to be examined?" Arnold stared at a woman in front of him sharply.

She was a nurse there, but the woman stared coldly at Arnold and his parents. Even once the woman moved her eyes up and down to observe their appearance .. even from her attitude she really showed that the woman often did not respect Arnold's parents.

Arnold looked around. He realized that he got different behavior from the other patients.

His gaze returned to the woman. "They can get treatment, so how come I can't register here?"

Arnold glanced at his father and mother briefly. Then he looked back at the female nurse. "Besides, I want my parents to get treatment here immediately."

The woman was holding back her laughter after hearing what Arnold said. Thinking that the words were really funny.

Arnold realized it. "Are you laughing at my parents?" Arnold emphasized his sentence.

The woman exhaled then she folded her arms in front of her chest "isn't it a person who has no money and a child of a criminal, that is not at all to force to be treated."

The woman did not even hesitate to give food to Arnold and his parents. In fact, she clearly showed that the woman underestimated them.

Arnold couldn't hold back his anger after hearing what the woman said. Even the woman insulted him and his parents.

Arnold squeezed his hands. But at this time his mother immediately held Arnold's hand. "It would be better if we just get out of here Arnold. Mom and dad are fine."

Seeing the sadness on his mother's face made Arnold's heart even angrier. He stared at the woman with a sharp gaze. "You have abused your power and the rules of this hospital."

"You shouldn't have done that!" The man said something firm.

But the woman watched Arnold with a cold gaze. She was not at all happy with Arnold's words. The woman lowered her hand and this time pointed at Arnold's face. "You seem to be talking if you know about the rules of this hospital."

"Who are you? Do you think you are much smarter than me?" The woman gave a sharp gaze. She showed her displeasure to Arnold. "Are you the one who works here?"

"I am their child. So you shouldn’t act like that.”Arnold said firmly.

The woman smiled sarcastically. “Aren’t you a criminal who just got out of prison?”

Everyone there noticed the commotion.. everyone looked at each other and whispered to each other.

One of the doctors there noticed the commotion. He immediately approached “hey bastard. You shouldn’t be here. Now you want to threaten the nurses here because you went to prison?” The man gave a scornful look. “You are truly the scum of society.”
