Arnold tried to suppress his anger. Before he went home, Arnold remembered his promise to his mother.

He walked into the restaurant and bought some food. He remembers a little about four years ago when he enjoyed a meal with his family.

At this time, Arnold understood that there was no one else to fight for but his parents. And as for Starla, Arnold forgot about her.

"Mom and Dad will be happy," Arnold muttered as his order was in his hands.

He went home with a cold face. But when he reached the front of his house, Arnold changed his expression.

His steps were calm as he entered the house. And he immediately smiled when he saw his mother and father greeting him.

Diana watched her son with concern. "I'm very worried about you, Arnold."

Arnold smiled, holding his mother's hand. "I told you that I would be fine. I just went to buy this food," Arnold said, holding up the food he had brought.

He could see his mother smiling at this moment. Arnold immediately gave the food to his mother. "Mom will prepare this."

Arnold nodded his head. He followed his mother's lead by pushing his father's wheelchair.

They were already at the dining table. This was the thing Arnold had missed the most during his time in prison. He finally felt the warmth of togetherness again.

His gaze did not leave his mother. Meanwhile, Diana picked up the plate and was about to prepare the food. But when she saw him, Diana was surprised. She looked at Arnold intensely. "Arnold, did you buy all this food?"

Arnold nodded. It was their favourite food, and they often enjoyed it together. Of course, now that they were back together, Arnold didn't want to waste the opportunity to repeat the things they used to do together.

After he was in prison and the Waston family destroyed his family, he was sure that his father and mother had not enjoyed this meal for a long time.

It was evident that their faces lit up when they saw the food.

Diana swallowed, looking at Arnold with confusion. "Arnold, this has a high price. Where did you get the money?"

The same went for his father. He also looked at Arnold with confusion. Knowing his son had just gotten out of prison, it was certainly a question.

Arnold smiled at them in turn. His face was filled with calmness. "Now you don't have to think about money anymore. I won't let you get back into trouble."

Emotion brought tears to Diana's eyes. She was very happy about this. For the past four years, poverty has made their lives very bad.

Arnold had earned all the money from the cards he had received. However, he decided not to tell his parents everything. He felt happy and lucky to have paid off all those debts.

Before his return, he had withdrawn $100,000, knowing that it was enough money to live on for some time.

Arnold thought about the Black card he had used earlier. His brow furrowed slightly as he recalled a unique logo that he seemed to have seen before. Only, he did not remember it. He would study it later. But right now, she just wanted to enjoy time with her parents. Fortunately, her teacher gave her the pin even though it was a riddle-like sentence.

There were actually many things she wanted to ask about her parents' lives over the past four years. Although her parents did not tell him everything, he was sure that the Waston family had always given them a hard time.

In the end, they enjoyed the meal. Diana was on the verge of tears. She became very emotional. She couldn't believe that they could enjoy that luxurious meal again. They seemed to enjoy it very much.

His father looked at Arnold. "What about those thugs?" His face looked very serious. Since earlier, he hadn't stopped thinking about it.

They felt a little worried. Afraid that their son would get into trouble after dealing with those thugs.

Arnold took a sip of his drink before he looked back at his father. "Don't worry, everything has been fine. And the debt has been paid off. They won't come to bother you again." Arnold explained.

For a moment, his father and mother were speechless. They stared at Arnold without blinking. "Are you serious?" This came as a shock to them.

A million dollars was a lot of money. They couldn't even afford a single instalment. They could only endure the pain as the thugs came and taught them. It might be painful, but at least they would leave afterwards.

But Diana looked confused. "Arnold, where did you get that money?" She looked at her son's face very seriously.

Arnold reached for his mother's hand and held it gently. "Mom, Dad, I can solve all this. And you two will have to rely on me." Arnold gave them confidence.

"We are very happy and proud of you. Even now, I cannot be counted on. I will only be a burden for the rest of my life." His father looked down and regretted himself.

For the first time, Arnold saw his father shedding tears at this moment. Arnold shook his head. Seeing his father's state, he knew why his father had said all that.

"Don't say that, father. I'm here. Don't blame yourself."

Arnold's gaze was currently searching for his father. When he last saw him, he was still an extraordinary man with perfect circumstances. But seeing his father's current state left Arnold sad.

He needed time to control himself before he looked at his father again. "How did you get your leg amputated?"

Adam let out his breath. He recalled a flashback of four years ago. "Right around the time that all of our companies were in a complete tailspin, I got a job at Zelda's family factory."

"There weren't many choices I could make. Especially when I knew there was nothing to look forward to with our company." Adam stopped the conversation. He let out a long sigh before continuing. "I ended up taking the job because I needed the money to stay alive."

"At first, things were going very well, but just as I was about to go home, my foot got caught in an escalator that suddenly stopped, and at that moment, there was no choice but to cut off my foot." A heavy sigh ended Adam's explanation to his son.

It was a really, really bad memory. At that moment, not only had he lost his right leg, but his life was much worse as he was unable to do anything other than being in a wheelchair.

Arnold was shocked. He had thought that this was all the work of the Waston family. Still, after hearing about Zelda's family, he knew that this was abnormal.

His jaw hardened. He had known for a long time that Tristan hated him. "Father, I am sure that this is a planned thing. This is a trap for you," she said with conviction.

Adam looked at his wife. Their faces were filled with worry. They were afraid that Arnold would have to deal with Zelda's family because of his words.

"Arnold, forget everything. We don't need to talk about it anymore."

"Now that we're back together, nothing could be better than that," Adam tried to convince his son.

Meanwhile, Arnold just nodded his head. But in his heart, Arnold was filled with anger. He would not let go of Zelda's family so easily.
