Chapter 24

The crashing of some things on the floor shifted focus to Zoa. Her vomit covered the floor as her still-bent posture meant one thing; there was more to come.

Jay and Kakashi helped the doctor get supplies to clean the vomit. The doctor wanted no nurse to be part of what was happening. He couldn’t do it alone but he didn’t need more people overwhelming him.

“You guys, look,” Jay called the attention of Kakashi and Doctor Hiro. Zoa was ill but she joined to look

The chaos energy that was dwindling had turned into a mini globe movie. The energy was fizzing out into different situations and environments, creating a look-alike reality of those places.

The stranger was still floating, his legs still tucked within each other.

“He saved me.” A voice from behind got them to turn around in its direction.

It was Zoa’s first words since she woke up to consciousness. Her pink hair wasn’t as pretty as when her skin wasn’t blue, but it stood out more than ever. Sh-she stood out more than ever.

“H
