Chapter 31

The sky’s shadow grew bigger; its thick chunks of flesh travelled from opposite sides to gather in one accord as they cast their shadows over the heat from the light above.

Doctor Haishi Aang looked up to the realization of the obvious eventuality that awaited this gathering in the sky.

It was a new day and he was still far away from his destination. The road was a deserted road plied by mostly raiders and warriors. It was rare for any one person to travel the lonely road all by himself.

He knew it would take a long time to travel and that was why he decided to take the shorter, less solely travelled road. He hoped he would be back to the academy in time to save the kids.

‘You still need to persuade Oz to follow you back to the school.’ His mind reminded him of how much work still awaited him.

He heaved a sigh; he had forgotten how much strength would be needed to persuade the wizard to join him in his journey back to Godlinkers High. He had been overwhelmed with the journey so far
