“Hey, I know you.” Daichi pointed as he squinted his eyes to see the stranger clearly, “Yep, it was you.”

The stranger cracked his tired bones, and without a word in response to the student who had just spoken, he directed all his energy and strength into conjuring up enough chaos energy he needed to go back in to save the girl.

“No no no no no...” A voice rued the sight before him. He saw Tanya’s veins push out the liquid they carried. Her body lay in silence, hopeless, and... lifeless.

He rushed toward her without any thought. He bent over her to check her pulse. It was still faint. He was relieved.

‘If I didn’t know any better, I would think her dying would be the best situation for the genius plan of yours.’

He kept on applying pressure on the body he looked to save, paying no heed to what his mind conjured up.
