Chapter 36

The loud slamming of the doors and the forceful movements of the trees outside filled Suke with goosebumps that rose like flour over his cold skin.

His eyes paraded the room for the figure that had just run past him in a flash, but there was still no lead. He moved in suspicion, but carefully. His back ached, although not as much as it first did.

A sudden swirling of black dust came through from a corner of the room, moving toward him. It roared but moved nothing in its path. Suke stayed in the same spot, wondering how it got in. He knew what to expect, so he fell on his face.

“IS THIS STILL ALL PART OF YOUR PLAN?” The wind roared its question

“Yes, My Lord. I need to save them all quickly. I need to win their trust. Moreover, I think you might be able to possess the boy’s body faster than we thought.” Suke responded

“FASTER? REMEMBER I AIM TO KNOW A LOT MORE ABOUT THE LINKERS.” The wind reminded Suke of its plan.
