TERRIBLE BREAKUP

"You go, girl! Get rid of that bum!" One of Natalie's friends cheered.

"Yeah, kick him out, he doesn't deserve you!"

"Babe, please don't do this. I'm a millionaire now, and I can take care of you and all your needs. That's why I came looking for you," Victor stated in a trembling voice, a whirlwind of emotions coursing through him. He loved Natalie deeply and didn't want to lose her.

"A millionaire? Yeah right, you just got fired from your job and can't even afford to pay your rent for the month. I want nothing to do with you anymore," Natalie taunted as she signaled to her friends that they should leave the restaurant.

"Natalie, please don't go. I love you, and I assure you, I have the money to take care of you," Victor pleaded, tears streaming down his face.

One of Natalie's friends, Tacha, spat on the ground near Victor. "You stink!"

"Yeah, go take a shower or something," another friend added. With that, they all left the restaurant, Natalie leading the way. Breaking up with Victor was difficult for her, but she believed it was necessary because it was evident that Victor was poor and had no prospects for success or providing for her. Little did she know that he was now a millionaire and possessed the Career Simulator system.

Victor remained on his knees, crying heavily. 'What did I do to deserve this? Why can't she just believe that I'm now a millionaire and can take care of her needs? I can't believe Natalie turned on me so quickly,' Victor thought.

Suddenly, a woman in a red dress covered in diamond crystals approached Victor and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Come on, you shouldn't be sulking like this over a woman who doesn't care about you," she said in a gentle tone. Her name was Esther Kingston, a wealthy woman who owned one of the most reputable delivery companies in the country.

"I know, but I loved her and gave her my all. She's been there for me through thick and thin. I can't believe she changed so suddenly," he replied through his sobs.

"I can understand how you feel, but people can be like that. You can't be crying in the middle of a restaurant like this; people are staring at you, and it's not a good look," she said calmly.

Victor looked up at her, noticing how beautiful Esther was with her dark hair, brown eyes, and well-shaped lips. "You're right," Victor said as he got up from the floor and brushed off his clothes.

Esther took a handkerchief from her handbag and gently wiped the tears from Victor's eyes. "How about I take you out and get you some fresh clothes to wear?" she offered politely.

Victor wondered who she was and why she was being so kind. "And why would you do that for me? Also, I didn't even catch your name," he asked curiously.

"My name is Esther Kingston. I just want to lift your spirits. I know what it feels like to go through heartbreak," Esther replied with a warm smile.

"My name is Victor Garcia. Nice to meet you," he said, extending his hand, and they shook hands.

"Now, let's go. My car is parked right outside," she said, taking Victor's left hand and leading him out of the restaurant. Outside, a red G-Wagon was parked in front of the restaurant, with a man in a black suit and sunglasses standing by. He opened the back door for Esther, and they both got in, sitting in the backseat.

Victor gazed around the car, trying to fathom who Esther really was. The sparkling stars on the car's roof hinted at her substantial wealth.

Curious about the bandage around Victor's head, Esther inquired, "I noticed you have a bandage on your head. What happened?"

"I had a concussion at the office where I used to work earlier today," Victor replied softly.

"That's terrible, especially since you also lost your girlfriend on the same day. I can't imagine what you must be going through emotionally," Esther said sympathetically. She hoped that the new clothes would help lift Victor's spirits a little.

Victor stood in front of a full-length mirror, adjusting the blue tie around his neck. He wore a light blue shirt, while Esther held a black jacket in her hand behind him.

"Have you finished knotting the tie?" Esther inquired.

"Yes," Victor replied. At his response, Esther handed him the black jacket.

"You look dashing," Esther complimented, her smile radiant.

"Thank you," Victor replied with a grin. It was his first time wearing a suit, and he could tell that it was an expensive one. He marveled at his reflection in the mirror.

'This feels so surreal. I can't believe I'm wearing a suit for the first time, and a woman I just met in a restaurant is buying it for me. I hardly know anything about her, but she must be wealthy or come from a well-off family. Whichever it is, I'm grateful,' Victor thought.

Turning to Esther, he said, "Thank you for the suit. It's my first time wearing one."

"You're welcome. There's one last place I'd like to take you," she replied.

As dusk settled outside, Victor and Esther entered a five-star hotel, hand in hand. They appeared as a couple as they walked in. Esther had gotten Victor a stylish haircut, and his blonde hair looked neat and sharp.

The hotel's ambiance, with its warm lighting, enchanted Victor. He had never been inside such a luxurious hotel before. A staff member dressed in a striking red suit approached them and greeted Esther. Esther was a regular at the hotel and was known for her generous tips to the staff. She had reserved a table for dinner at the hotel's restaurant tonight.

The staff member led them to the restaurant, where they sat at a table with four seats, facing each other.

"Get me my usual, and make it for two this time," Esther confidently ordered, fixing her gaze on the staff member.

"Yes, ma'am," the staff member half-bowed before hurrying away.

Esther turned to Victor. "You like steak, right?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes," Victor replied, feeling a pang of guilt that Esther was also treating him to dinner. Given the restaurant's upscale ambiance, he anticipated that the dishes would be expensive. This reminded him of the millions he now possessed.

Realizing that the system had provided him with the money, Victor decided to check whether the funds in his account were genuine. Two waiters arrived at their table, each carrying a large stainless-steel plate covered with a lid and bottles of wine. They placed the plates in front of them and the wine bottles to the side.

As the waiters removed the covers from the plates, revealing two large, perfectly cooked steaks, one of them handed a bill to Victor. "Here's the bill, sir."
