Chapter 149: Fort Uthril Training

Valkyrie tried to imagine what it would have taken to use such a weapon in that situation but while it was an option, she knew deep down that it would have been a waste of precious scath units.

“Adriel, we have both fought many scath, but almost always one or two at a time. If Allocen is massing an army, how would we fight such?”

“Battlefield?”

“Fort Uthril.”

The world shifted to a mountain pass that opened out to the north of the barrier mountains. Unlike the valley that was situated before Fort Lorilis, Uthril was near the bottom of the mountains. High passes reached thousands of feet over head and the fort itself was little more than a ten foot wall carved out of the rock of the mountain. A low two story keep sat at the back of the wall with a small garrison made of the same stone. It was less than impressive if Valkyrie was honest.
