Chapter forty five

"I'm sorry I had to break this news to you." the doctor said.

"Can we see him right now?" I asked the doctor.

"Of course. But be careful with him. His life is standing on a thin line right now." the doctor replied and walked off.

"Why didn't he tell me anything. I'm his daughter and I should at least be aware if not anyone else." Tamira said to me.

"He knew it would hurt you this way and that's why he kept it a secret," I told Tamira. "Let's just go inside and see him. Try and be strong." I added.

Tamira moved away from me and whipped her tears away, "okay." she said. I opened the door and waited for Tamira to go in first. Tamira Walker into the room and I followed her after.

Tamira sat on a chair already set beside Mr. Wilson's bed, "Tamira." Mr. Wilson called her name. He held his daughter's hand and took it closer to himself.

"How are you doing?" he asked her.

"I should be the one asking you that question," Tamira replied to Mr. Wilson.
