Chapter forty six

"Your shoe sir," I answered. Xavier slapped me on the side of the head with the heel part of the shoes and lowered his hand after.

"I know they are shoe dingbat. I want to know what the hell it is that you did with my Italian shoes." Xavier said to me.

"I polished it, sir," I said to Xavier.

"Polished it? You ruined them. Do you know how much these cost? Even your life will not ever be able to reach quarter the amount these shoe cost." Xavier told me.

"Ugh. Now I can't wear these anymore. Throw them away." Xavier said and when I reached out to collect the shoes from him, he tossed them to the floor.

"Pick them up and throw them in the trash," he said and walked off. Oh how much I felt like spitting on that bastard but no. I just picked up the shoes, even when it was a clear insult, and I went out the gate to trash them.

The security guards didn't stop me from going out. I guess what happened to their colleague left a mark. No one wants to get fired.
