Traitor.The sky is continuously cloudless and dark, paving the way for darkness to take charge. The weather was becoming increasingly cold which signaled an apparent heavy downpour. It's 7 pm already and they're still sleeping on the case. "Can someone please take these handcuffs off my hands? It's messing with my skin and making me so uncomfortable," Christian requested. He has endured the pain for so long bad couldn't bear it anymore. The handcuffs were too harsh on Chris's skin which made him have a bit of bruises."Okay. Just hold on a second. Brandy's venom."It's getting late already. They should have returned. Why are they wasting time in fetching the evidence or is that difficult? I thought Mark assured me that he had everything under control?" Christian said as he looked worried. He paced around tirelessly and placed his hands on his head to think. He has a negative feeling that Detective Job might have done something bad to destroy the evidence Mark was supposed to submit, which would of course set Christian free."Can you stop preaching negativity? We don't have much energy around here. All we need is optimism to desire a better result." Emily's father suggested"Optimism? I doubt if that's ever going to happen." Chris argued. Brandy's antics."Emily, is he telling the truth? I need you to be honest with me. You're the only one I could trust right now. Brandy is a jerk. The Escape route.“What's running through your mind now, Brandy? Doesn't it bother you that you might be spending the rest of your life in jail for committing a serious crime? You haven't spoken a word since we entered this vehicle. Are you planning on something I should know about?” Jayden whispered silently as the cops drove them to the station. He's noticed how unbothered Brandy has been lately.“Nothing special. I don't have Skeleton up my sleeves. I just have this peace of mind that can't be explained. I'm certain my Dad would come for me pretty soon. I've got absolutely nothing to worry about,” Brandy boasted. He isn't bothered by the arrest because he knows it's just a matter of time before his father comes through for him. Reconciliation Christian wasn't bothered about his potential arrest initially because he was quite confident of his innocence. He even made a declaration of becoming a Freeman who finally came to a manifestation.“I'll be going home at last. It's been a crazy adventure.” Chris smiled. He was so elated that he was going home. There's no greater joy than seeing Brandy and Jayden being arrested by the cops. Breaking free.Brandy gritted his teeth, remembering how confident he was a couple of minutes ago. He doesn't feel the same anymore and fears the worst that's about to him. His sense of loss was so deep, that he thought it'd kill him some nights.He paced around the cell for a couple of minutes in his prison uniform looking restless.
