Declan retreated immediately and rushed after Samantha who rushed out of the study. He heard her sobs and he knew he had hurt her, something that he thought he promised her that he would never do.
He watched her take a key from the shelf and head out. He knew she was not in the right mind to drive and he quickly signaled Andrew to pull up a car for her.
He quickly did and before Samantha could get to the major exit, a car was already waiting for her.
Without a second thought, she got into the car still sobbing and the driver sped away. She needed to get away and she thought of whom she could talk to.
Her father was not around and she knew that Hannah was her only friend around.
