Warm Intimacy

The next morning, Luisa woke up and blinked her eyes. It took her a while to regain her consciousness. When she turned to her left, she found the curtains were still closed. Scott was asleep in the chair in front of the nightstand, facing the case.

Luisa tried to get up. The compress that was originally stuck to her forehead fell to her thigh. Luisa took it, finding that it was almost dry. She began to try to remember what happened last night.

"You're awake?" Scott woke up and immediately stood up, approaching the bed.

"How are you feeling?" he then asked, placing his right palm on Luisa's forehead.

Luisa could feel Scott's anxiety from looking at his eyes. Now she remembered, last night she drank at the bar until she got drunk. As far as she remembered, Scott took her home and they left the bar. After that... she didn't remember anything else.

"I'm fine," Luisa said.
