Scholtz turned to Linda, a deep crease forming between his brows. Her arrogant, smug face irritated him.

“And who are you, if I may ask? Why do you think you have the right to interfere in this matter?” Scholtz asked sarcastically.

“Who am I?” Linda shot back, staring at Scholtz in disbelief. A moment later, she sneered.

“She’s the mayor’s niece,” George chimed in, feeling the need to defend his girlfriend. “I don’t know who you are, but I’d suggest you watch your tone around her. After all, she’s related to the top official in Mildenbrough.”

Scholtz glared at George, and George defiantly raised his chin, signaling that he wasn’t intimidated.

George and Linda’s arrogant attitude left Tony and the flight attendant stunned. Unlike them, Tony and the flight attendant knew exactly who Scholtz was and just how influential he was in Mildenbrough and other cities.

“You said the seats Mr. Scott and his wife reserved were already taken by two other passengers, right?” Scholtz asked the flight
