Chapter 111

Ares walked briskly into the building, making a beeline for his office, stopping occasionally to answer the greetings thrown at him by his workers.

His eye caught Athena, discussing with another worker at the corner.

“Diana!” He called loudly, gesturing for her to come with his hands.

“Good morning Ares.” She greeted, her eyes trained on the iPad in her hands.

“Busy morning?” Ares asked.

“Very much so, we are expecting the investors soon and our developers are doing a final test run of the product to be sure and on the safer side,” Athena said.

“Wait, the meeting with the investors was today?” Ares asked, shocked as they entered the elevator.

“Yes sir, did you forget,” Athena asked, surprised herself, Ares was one to not forget things as important as this.

“I honestly forgot.” He said truthfully, leaning on the elevator and staring blandly at the keypad.

“Ares, are you okay?” Athena asked with concern.

She was not one to show any sort of care or affection, but Ares was her boss and
