Chapter 117

Eve woke up to her doorbell ringing, she was not expecting anyone and most definitely did not remember ordering anything for the morning.

Groaning, she stretched her sore limbs as she struggled out of the bed and walked to the living room.

The living room was a tiny yet cozy space, she had done some rearrangements when she arrived, making it to her taste and comfort.

It was just big enough to fit a three—sitter comforter couch, a television, and a few decorations.

It did not take her up to a minute to cross the little space to the door.

“I'm coming.” She yelled as the doorbell rang again.

Impatient much, she thought, and who rings someone's door at eight-thirty in the morning?

“Good morning Miss.” She heard as she opened the door to a delivery man with a large bouquet of flowers.

“Good morning,” Eve answered, squinting her eyes at him. “Are you sure you have the right house?” She asked.

“Yes miss, are you Miss Eve?” The man asked, glancing at his notepad.

“Yes,” Eve answered.
