The five were able to get into a nearby cafe, close to the school’s location. As they got inside, Pitcher led them all to a table at the extreme end and they all took their seats.
Pitcher looking all frightened, Big D, sweating all around while finding every possible means to avoid eye contact with Eugene.
The gauntlet brawl really send shivers into the spines of the four that were around Eugene. Velma can be seen, obviously staring too close at Eugene and the awkward silence broke off as Eugene couldn’t take it anymore.
“Hey, what the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Are you sure you are alright, or normal? Or in fact, are you human?” Velma questioned with a curious expression written all over face.
“That’s a stupid question, you know that right?” Eugene responded with an indifferent expression.
“I can see that you haven’t break a sweat since the brawl.” Velma cleared up the reason behind her questions.
“Well, don’t bother anyway. It’s not like I am going to give up the truth easily.”
“Hmm, that’s interesting, but anyways, we are here for another thing right?” Velma asked as she faces towards the direction of Pitcher and Big D.
“Yeah, so, Mr. Dawnson, you have things to tell us right?” Jixie cuts in.
“W...well, about what? I...if I may ask?” Big D answered with a shaking tone.
At that moment, the waiter walked towards their table, asked for their order, took them down and left to wait onto another table.
“Well, let’s start with a solid question, why the hell did you attack our school?” Eugene asked as he leaned further towards him on the table, with his two palms on his cheeks.
On hearing his question, Big D sighed and looked at Pitcher whose mood suddenly got moody. Pitcher looked at Eugene and plainly answered, “It wasn’t on our own accord, we were ordered to do so.”
“If I may ask, by who?” Velma suddenly cuts in, asking the same question that was on everyone’s mind.
“The congressman, Steve Davidson’s order.” Pitcher answered and was quite satisfied seeing the shocked reactions written all over the faces of Eugene, Velma and Jixie.
Big D then sits up to finally give the full gist, “Steve Davidson is actually the one who owns the Gangster Hood gang and up till today, no one, not even me knows what the objective behind the gang’s creation is.
The G.H gang was one sneaky rat gang that made it to the ranking list through the congressman’s connections. It was a hard quest for someone like me who had to force himself into the gangster’s lifestyle.
Armed robbery, drug trafficking, street brawls, paid assaults, we did all that to gain a place in the ranking list and as well, build up a respectable reputation.
Well, everything was going on well for me when I was still a first year student in Vincestreet High, till my brother messed with the wrong guy.
He stole from one of the buildings owned by the congressman and was caught. He was the only one in his team to be unfortunate.
My parents begged on behalf of him and made promises till he pointed at me with the exact words, “he has to work for his bail money, work for me, Mr. Dawnson”.
Well, my parents saw nothing to it as they thought that the work would be just as normal as any decent work which the labourers do.
We did agreed to it, signed the contract without even reading what was inside and then, he brought me in, into his office and gave me a shock as he said to me, “you are going to help me run a gang”.
With the mind-set of disagreeing with him, it broke down as he brought up my imprisoned brother and threatened me with his condition and yeah, I succumbed.
He transferred me to another school, introduced me to his partners, educated me, and of course, according to him, “disciplined me”.
Like that, I became an errand boy for him. He gives me the quest and I get it done, followed him up and grew his gang.
Then after, our growth was topped by a hideous cult like gang, the Black Crooks and somehow, all of a sudden, the congressman lost hope on growing the gang.
Then, on last week Tuesday, he gave me the mission of taking over Vincestreet High that Ken would soon be deceased.
We became suspicious on him trying to take over the unaffiliated schools in the country, maybe, it has to deal with the power struggles with his fellow politicians or something like that.
And since miss Velma took over the claim of being the new students’ president without permission, it will trouble the congressman and likewise try to either get rid of her or subdue her under his control.”
“Huh? Why the fuck would he do that?” Velma cuts in with her question as she gives out an annoying expression.
“Well, it’s that obvious, you are to him, an obstacle that he either needs to take advantage of or get out of his way.”
“But actually, I don’t plan to be, so I might just get out of his way, since we planned for a peaceful school life, right?” Velma turns to Jixie as she questions her. As for Jixie, she gave her an eye, which expressed her annoyance.
“The chances of that would actually be low.” Pitcher adds.
“Huh? How?” Velma asks in confusion.
“Since it is known to everyone that you are really strong since you were capable of defeating Ken and his guys easily, he would probably want to subdue you to be under him or have you dead in other to avoid future problems coming from you.” Eugene explains.
“My point.” Pitcher agrees.
“Well, I’m now excited and impatient to meet him.” Velma replied with a creepy smirk on her face.
“Uhm guys, I’m not yet done with my story.” Big D says with a saddened face.
“Awwn, he is really cute.” Velma teased.
“Yeah, I do get to see that now and then.” Pitcher adds.
“Bla bla bla, anyways, his new mission gave me a shock, we then arranged Donald for the mission, since he had his eye on my position of being the gang leader not knowing about the congressman’s control.
We did scripted him on how to carry out the mission. Of course, the idea came from the congressman but instead, he messed it up big time as his desire for power grew stronger and likely blew off on Friday after receiving the news of Ken’s death.
To the victims, I do apologize but anyway, that is all.”
The waiter comes back in with their order and left, after some silence and them having a bite and sip of whatever they had on their table, Eugene finally spoke up,
“I do have another question to ask, what is this guy’s personality like?”
“He seems to be afraid of something nowadays but as for his character, he is, as you know, demanding, threatening and as well, has the attitude of money can solve everything.” Big D answers.
“Haha!! Now, that’s what I’m looking for.” Eugene laughs out loud as he rests back on his seat.
Pitcher then drops his empty cup of coffee and speaks up, “now, this is all we know, we have to go back to your school to pick up the boys that you knocked out on your courtyard.”
Then, both pitcher and Big D got up and left while dropping some money on the table and at that moment, Jixie suddenly heaved a sigh out of relief.
Looking at her with curiosity, Velma asked, “Hey, don’t tell me that you don’t have any money on you.”
“What about you?” Jixie sharply replies.
“Of course, unlike someone I do carry money around.......... In my school bag though.” Velma cheerfully replies while Jixie was holding herself back from snapping.
“Anyways, Mr. Grey Eugene, you do have quite a sturdy body for someone who is a nerd, I didn’t know you could fight but why did you let Ken keep on beating you up till his death and likewise pretended that you couldn’t throw hands?” Velma asked with curiosity written all over her widened eyes which she used to stare at him while leaning closely towards him. “Hmm, why don’t we just say that it was a plan which I devised to get people to pity me while receiving beatings that were enough to get people into asking themselves why I haven’t fought back, even with the knife which they claimed that I used in stabbing Abel’s stomach.” Says Eugene as he leans close to Velma, face to face while staring at her eyes. “*cough* *cough*, that’s probably a lie.” Jixie cuts in as she coughed and slowly dropped the coffee mug which she drank from on the table and continued, “If that was the case, you would have people already coming to your side to actually confirm if what Ken claimed is the truth, an
As the both; Eugene and Velma, left the cafe and headed straight to the arcade down the street, they went in and walked straight to the counter to exchange their money for coins and then, went straight to gaming. The both were having fun as they were challenging ea ch other. Velma was more excited as she was already in a ten winning streak against Eugene, who was somehow getting disappointed on his ten losing streak. Eugene suggested for another game without a PVP (person versus person) mode in it. Velma agreed to it and yes, it seems that the case has still not changed. For Eugene, he became more embarrassed that not only that he couldn’t beat Velma, but he also couldn’t beat the game characters. While for Velma, she seemed to be an expert in the old classical games as she easily sweeps the levels and stages in the game and of course, defeats the boss. She hopped up in excitement and hugged Eugene, shaking his body aggressively just as she completed the whole game. Eugene slowl
As the both got out of the movie room, Eugene made sure to avoid eye contact with Velma as much as possible but instead, Velma tried her possible best to witness Eugene’s reaction as she kept leaning forward towards Eugene’s face, with a huge smile on her own face. “Uhm, hey, c....can you cut that out? Your creeping me out.” Said Eugene as he couldn’t withstand Velma’s pestering anymore. “Okay, Mr. Horror movies scare the shit out of me.” Velma teased. “That’s not true!” Eugene protested. “Then let’s go back and finish up that movie, so that you can prove me wrong.” Velma suggested. “You said it was boring and I adhered your plea. Now you want to go back in there? Hell no, pay the price for complaining about that masterpiece.” Said Eugene. “Huh? Then I’ll give you a kiss to go back in there.” Velma teased as she leaned further towards his face, while positioning her lips with the attempt to kiss. Eugene ignores the kiss and opens the exit door, went outside while holding the doo
“Uhm, E... Eugene, I think I have a confession to make.” Velma, hesitantly spoke up. “Huh? What’s that?” Eugene asked in confusion. “The Golden Crown Gang, now known as the Dirty Crowns Gang.............. I am an ex member.” As Velma replied, Eugene was suddenly thrown in shock and couldn’t believe his ears, causing him to ask again, “w... What?” “Just calm down, okay? I didn’t join them during the middle school years, but instead, I joined them during my first year in high school, to be exact, Rosetown High. And more importantly, one of your ex-member; Stacy, is a member of the gang and as for her position; she’s the vice captain and of course, she hates you a lot and your story made it clear.” After Velma’s statement, Eugene’s mood got worse as his facial expression changed from confusion to sadness. Seeing his expression, Velma patted his back to console him a bit, saying, “don’t let it get you, okay? Just, when you get the chance, you then apologize to her.” “Then, why did y
Then, later in the future, I was able to know the names of all the members there, which were; Marcus, Davey, Lana, Ambel, Corkson, Gwen and Andrew. I will be honest with you now, these guys? They are pretty strong and would definitely give a tough time to anyone, but as for someone like you, I don’t just know, I can’t really predict. Compared to them, I was able to beat Carl, Andrew, Gwen and Corkson. The rest was just impossible for me to handle. You really did have an extraordinary fighter as one of your members, but too bad, you lost her during you guys’ middle school years, but what do we know? Everyone fucks up at their own time. Anyways, back to the story, Axel introduced me to the team and my attention got fully focused on Stacy, who didn’t try to observe who the newcomer was as she usually does to anyone back at class. That evening, I was finally convinced that her character of shunning everyone off wasn’t an act but was actually genuine as she also didn’t interact much with
“Then, all of a sudden, a million dollar request came to our gang. The client was really pressuring us with the amount he was trying to pay us, if we carried out the mission. It looks more like he was desperate, so that was more of a reason that we had to act cautious and made deeper research, even in the dark web. Surprisingly, we saw posters about our target, and yes, the target had a bounty on its head. His name, Albion Carl Abel, aka the favourite son. Despite him being young, he had some prowess over the world under us and is quite a young business tycoon, who is said to be way better than his father in every aspect. He is more; intelligent, dangerous, domineering, tactical, lethal and overall, he has the cute and innocent look to cover it all up. Seeing such magnificent result, we in the inner circle was against carrying out the task, especially, if it has to do with business and national politics. We all are in agreement to not go for it but Stacy wanted to take the missio
As the sun rises for a new day filled with morning dew. Vincestreet High was having an awesome atmosphere ever since and they all had their class periods exchanged with an activity. Yes, it was time for the preparation for the graduation ceremony but customs have it as they all celebrate it like a festival. Different classes have already gathered up in discussing what to present or what their activity would be that very day as well as putting up a wonderful ceremony for the graduating seniors. It was the same for class 2D. They all have gathered up and were in a midst of what seems to be a serious meeting or discussion. Well, to be quite honest and realistic, it is known that in every class discussion, with a teacher, prefects, student councils or even within the students, most ideas and topics is always fated to be made fun of by a specific, infamous group, the backbenchers. The fun was an ongoing one for everyone except for Velma who was in a tight spot as a junior student, from
As Velma got out of the principal’s office, she headed back to her class with the red file in her hand and secretly called out to Jixie, signalling that they both need to go outside. Jixie receiving such message did not hesitate and stepped outside with Velma. As they both got outside, Velma flaunted the red file she had with her, saying, “guess what’s in my possession.” “Come on, I am not here for your silly games. Tell me what happened in there and what you have on your hand.” Jixie replied with obvious acts of curiosity. “Okay, but let’s head to the rooftop, it’s quite delicate to talk about such an issue in public.” Velma replied while still teasing Jixie. “Fine, quickly!” Jixie grunted, took one of Velma’s hands and dragged her to the rooftop. As they both finally managed to reach to the rooftop and without any further hesitation, Jixie shakes Velma to tell her what happened in the office. After many tries and conviction, Velma finally gave up and gave Jixie the gist of every
