“Anyways, Mr. Grey Eugene, you do have quite a sturdy body for someone who is a nerd, I didn’t know you could fight but why did you let Ken keep on beating you up till his death and likewise pretended that you couldn’t throw hands?” Velma asked with curiosity written all over her widened eyes which she used to stare at him while leaning closely towards him.
“Hmm, why don’t we just say that it was a plan which I devised to get people to pity me while receiving beatings that were enough to get people into asking themselves why I haven’t fought back, even with the knife which they claimed that I used in stabbing Abel’s stomach.” Says Eugene as he leans close to Velma, face to face while staring at her eyes.
“*cough* *cough*, that’s probably a lie.” Jixie cuts in as she coughed and slowly dropped the coffee mug which she drank from on the table and continued,
“If that was the case, you would have people already coming to your side to actually confirm if what Ken claimed is the truth, and again, we did make a friend who is always present whenever we have people gossiping, you could say that she’s a queen and an expert when it comes to knowing about the latest rumour and trends, more comparable to the old China’s beggar sect. According to her, Abel was the main victim of Ken’s bullying and actually, Ken’s favourite, before you came in into the picture.
Again, she said that you were a ladies' guy, very popular because of your looks and social or should I say, flirting ability. That was your normal school life till you came to school one day and Amon has already spread his false rumour while standing on his ground as a witness of that incident, without even giving you a chance to speak up.
Unfortunately for you, the rumour became more believable as the police came to pick you up for questioning.”
“Wow, that really sums up how my school life went down to the gutter. Now, to give my own account, I’ll be starting with how I unfortunately met with Abel on my way somewhere.
I saw how he was running, barging against everyone on his way, and then, I heard a slight loud sound and then, Abel ran towards me and tripped on me with a bloodied body, a sniper bullet stuck in the ground close to my feet, and a visible small hole that ran through his cloth as blood gushed out of it.
I got my self stained in his blood, both on my clothes, hands and other parts.
And as for Amon; he was just a bystander who was standing in front of an alleyway, obstructing the pedestrians’ view of sighting Ken and his guys taking in drugs and peeing, after all, they were under aged.
Just as he saw me calling for help, he was there, showing off how wide his smirk could be and called the other guys in the alleyway to come see what was happening.
As for when the police came to pick me up, all they asked was for my cooperation with them and the investigator showered upon me with a barrage of questions about the incident, as I was the first-hand witness in the crime scene that saw Abel go down.
What got me angry was that, Abel didn’t even make the incident public, neither did he let us know what really happened nor that he was now fine, only for me to get the news that he was out of the hospital from Velma, dared to tell the doctor to lie to me about him not making it out. *Sigh* I just got involved in a power struggle between multiple companies and groups and yeah, I’m quite lucky that I was successfully marked out of the case.
I was just waiting for a whole week for the media to broadcast on the news of what happened around here, but only for me to be a fool to keep my eyes on the TV for hours in a week, expecting that a miracle would happen.
Then, just as I resumed school again, all I could see were eyes that were scared in coming in contact with mine and eyes looking at me with disgust and of course, Amon’s testimony even worsened as he claimed that I must have bribed the local police with money.
Well, seeing that I couldn’t save my self anymore, Ken took the opportunity to beat me up however he wanted in the name of doing a righteous and just deed, which won the students’ heart as well as the teachers.
Despite the norm of teachers not giving a fuck about the students’ affairs, they actually didn’t interfere because of the fear they had for me.
And with that strategy, Ken was able to become the students’ president. All I wanted was a peaceful school life and to be able to run away from my past decision and not to dwell in such violent mistaken fate that was bestowed upon me.”
“Wow, this now makes everything understandable. Okay guys, I’ll be heading back to school, make sure to finish off your order and head back to school after.” Jixie announced and left as if she was in a hurry.
“That bitch! Who does she think she is fooling? She just ate up quickly and ran off in order to avoid any problems if the money pitcher and Big D brought to the table wasn’t enough.” Velma complained with her arms folded and her pouting.
“Haha, no need for the worries, I’ll just pay up, so let’s head out then.” Eugene suggested.
“Uhm, do you have enough money at your disposal?” Velma asked hesitantly.
“Huh? Why? Any problem?” He replied with a confused expression.
“Lets go to an arcade and punch into some fighting gaming machine and imagine that the villains are the whole school.” Velma suggested.
Eugene got silent and thought about Velma’s idea before answering excitedly, “Yeah, that’s probably the best way to relieve some stress, let’s head out now!”
Eugene then called onto the waiter, paid up and they both left for the arcade.
As the both; Eugene and Velma, left the cafe and headed straight to the arcade down the street, they went in and walked straight to the counter to exchange their money for coins and then, went straight to gaming. The both were having fun as they were challenging ea ch other. Velma was more excited as she was already in a ten winning streak against Eugene, who was somehow getting disappointed on his ten losing streak. Eugene suggested for another game without a PVP (person versus person) mode in it. Velma agreed to it and yes, it seems that the case has still not changed. For Eugene, he became more embarrassed that not only that he couldn’t beat Velma, but he also couldn’t beat the game characters. While for Velma, she seemed to be an expert in the old classical games as she easily sweeps the levels and stages in the game and of course, defeats the boss. She hopped up in excitement and hugged Eugene, shaking his body aggressively just as she completed the whole game. Eugene slowl
As the both got out of the movie room, Eugene made sure to avoid eye contact with Velma as much as possible but instead, Velma tried her possible best to witness Eugene’s reaction as she kept leaning forward towards Eugene’s face, with a huge smile on her own face. “Uhm, hey, c....can you cut that out? Your creeping me out.” Said Eugene as he couldn’t withstand Velma’s pestering anymore. “Okay, Mr. Horror movies scare the shit out of me.” Velma teased. “That’s not true!” Eugene protested. “Then let’s go back and finish up that movie, so that you can prove me wrong.” Velma suggested. “You said it was boring and I adhered your plea. Now you want to go back in there? Hell no, pay the price for complaining about that masterpiece.” Said Eugene. “Huh? Then I’ll give you a kiss to go back in there.” Velma teased as she leaned further towards his face, while positioning her lips with the attempt to kiss. Eugene ignores the kiss and opens the exit door, went outside while holding the doo
“Uhm, E... Eugene, I think I have a confession to make.” Velma, hesitantly spoke up. “Huh? What’s that?” Eugene asked in confusion. “The Golden Crown Gang, now known as the Dirty Crowns Gang.............. I am an ex member.” As Velma replied, Eugene was suddenly thrown in shock and couldn’t believe his ears, causing him to ask again, “w... What?” “Just calm down, okay? I didn’t join them during the middle school years, but instead, I joined them during my first year in high school, to be exact, Rosetown High. And more importantly, one of your ex-member; Stacy, is a member of the gang and as for her position; she’s the vice captain and of course, she hates you a lot and your story made it clear.” After Velma’s statement, Eugene’s mood got worse as his facial expression changed from confusion to sadness. Seeing his expression, Velma patted his back to console him a bit, saying, “don’t let it get you, okay? Just, when you get the chance, you then apologize to her.” “Then, why did y
Then, later in the future, I was able to know the names of all the members there, which were; Marcus, Davey, Lana, Ambel, Corkson, Gwen and Andrew. I will be honest with you now, these guys? They are pretty strong and would definitely give a tough time to anyone, but as for someone like you, I don’t just know, I can’t really predict. Compared to them, I was able to beat Carl, Andrew, Gwen and Corkson. The rest was just impossible for me to handle. You really did have an extraordinary fighter as one of your members, but too bad, you lost her during you guys’ middle school years, but what do we know? Everyone fucks up at their own time. Anyways, back to the story, Axel introduced me to the team and my attention got fully focused on Stacy, who didn’t try to observe who the newcomer was as she usually does to anyone back at class. That evening, I was finally convinced that her character of shunning everyone off wasn’t an act but was actually genuine as she also didn’t interact much with
“Then, all of a sudden, a million dollar request came to our gang. The client was really pressuring us with the amount he was trying to pay us, if we carried out the mission. It looks more like he was desperate, so that was more of a reason that we had to act cautious and made deeper research, even in the dark web. Surprisingly, we saw posters about our target, and yes, the target had a bounty on its head. His name, Albion Carl Abel, aka the favourite son. Despite him being young, he had some prowess over the world under us and is quite a young business tycoon, who is said to be way better than his father in every aspect. He is more; intelligent, dangerous, domineering, tactical, lethal and overall, he has the cute and innocent look to cover it all up. Seeing such magnificent result, we in the inner circle was against carrying out the task, especially, if it has to do with business and national politics. We all are in agreement to not go for it but Stacy wanted to take the missio
As the sun rises for a new day filled with morning dew. Vincestreet High was having an awesome atmosphere ever since and they all had their class periods exchanged with an activity. Yes, it was time for the preparation for the graduation ceremony but customs have it as they all celebrate it like a festival. Different classes have already gathered up in discussing what to present or what their activity would be that very day as well as putting up a wonderful ceremony for the graduating seniors. It was the same for class 2D. They all have gathered up and were in a midst of what seems to be a serious meeting or discussion. Well, to be quite honest and realistic, it is known that in every class discussion, with a teacher, prefects, student councils or even within the students, most ideas and topics is always fated to be made fun of by a specific, infamous group, the backbenchers. The fun was an ongoing one for everyone except for Velma who was in a tight spot as a junior student, from
As Velma got out of the principal’s office, she headed back to her class with the red file in her hand and secretly called out to Jixie, signalling that they both need to go outside. Jixie receiving such message did not hesitate and stepped outside with Velma. As they both got outside, Velma flaunted the red file she had with her, saying, “guess what’s in my possession.” “Come on, I am not here for your silly games. Tell me what happened in there and what you have on your hand.” Jixie replied with obvious acts of curiosity. “Okay, but let’s head to the rooftop, it’s quite delicate to talk about such an issue in public.” Velma replied while still teasing Jixie. “Fine, quickly!” Jixie grunted, took one of Velma’s hands and dragged her to the rooftop. As they both finally managed to reach to the rooftop and without any further hesitation, Jixie shakes Velma to tell her what happened in the office. After many tries and conviction, Velma finally gave up and gave Jixie the gist of every
“Anyways, let’s check the ranking list, no knowledge is a waste.”“Fine fine, I’ll open it up.” Which Velma did only for them to get shocked the more at the sight of the list.At that moment, the door opened up and Eugene walked in with a lot of paper snack bags and an annoyed face . He marched in protest towards them, gently dropped the bag, squatted in front of their confused faces and spoke up, saying,“You guys are quite deranged, I think. How do you even know my number and again, had the guts to even order me to fetch some snacks while coming, according to you, “because what you will about to see will get you thirsty”.By the way, I couldn’t complain since you saved my ass. After being an introvert for a year, I’ll definitely tell you that being an extrovert does takes a lot of energy away from you.I surprisingly got popular after the gauntlet brawl and I have been receiving so much attention that I can’t breathe well any more. The class prefect even tried getting me the role of
