"What, they're yours? Where did you get the money, Melvin? You don't commit crimes, do you? I wouldn't want you to. We're poor people, just focus on making money the good way, not the bad way, Melvin,"

Melvin smiled. He had guessed that his mother's reaction would be like this. Almost every day his mother told him not to do bad things out there. Maintaining behavior was necessary, especially since they were poor people.
