Next mission with a car reward

(The next mission is to save a woman who is being robbed)

(Punishment: The woman will lose everything)

"What's the reward if I successfully complete the task?"

(Buy the car you want)

Melvin opened his eyes wide. He would get a car if he managed to save a woman. This was a great task for him, and he was determined to complete the mission or task well.

A few seconds later, Melvin saw to his left a woman who was on the side of the road waiting for the vehicle to pick her up.

Suddenly her bag was pulled by a large man. Melvin who saw that immediately ran after him.

Melvin managed to stop the man and firmly asked the man to return the bag of the woman who was scared now and hoped that Melvin would succeed in grabbing her bag because all her valuables were in the bag.

The evil man suddenly pulled out a knife from his pocket and was about to stab Melvin while exclaiming "Die!"

But Melvin pulled out as much strength as he could, and the science of countering attacks that he had. Even though it was just basic science, Melvin was confident that he could fight the thief.

Melvin swatted away the weapon aimed at him with such force that he twisted the criminal's hand and pushed him to the ground in pain.

Melvin hit him once in the face and after that the thief was unconscious. Melvin immediately picked up the bag that had fallen not far from the thief's position. Then Melvin returned the bag to its owner.

"Thank you, sir,"

"You're welcome, but be more vigilant next time. Take good care of yourself,"

"Yes, if I may know your name, sir?" Asked the woman who owned the bag that Melvin had managed to snatch from the criminal's hand.

Melvin immediately extended his hand while saying his name so that the woman would recognize him.

"My name is Melvin."

The woman returned Melvin's hand so they were shaking hands now. Then the woman said her name "My name is Adaline,"

"Okay, Adaline. Then I'll leave first. Be more careful next time. I hope it doesn't happen again,"

"Well, thank you again, have a good day, Melvin. It was nice meeting you and I hope we can meet next time,"

Melvin smiled and nodded his head. Then Melvin continued his journey to Steve's house. Melvin waited for public transportation again.

(Mr. successfully completed the task. Congratulations, you are entitled to choose one car of your dreams. Now check your bank balance)

Melvin blinked his eyes. Is this really true? Would his habit of taking public transportation come to an end now that he had his dream car? Melvin was impatient.

He immediately rushed to check his bank balance and found out that he was indeed given money to buy a car.

"Oh my God, do I really have this much money?"

Melvin was touched to see the numbers arranged in front of him. This was the first time he had seen his bank balance this much.

"I'm really going to buy a car? Thank you, System. Thank you for making my life better. Okay now I'll use this five hundred thousand dollars to buy the car I want,"

Melvin delayed his arrival at Steve's house. He had to go to the car showroom now to buy the car of his dreams.

"Oh my god, why do I have to see them again? Isn't there another restaurant in this place? I'm sick of seeing their intimacy, I'm reminded of Melvin. How is he now? Does he know that his girlfriend is really cheating on him?"

Steve felt that his luck today was really bad. Having met at the café earlier, now when he arrived at the restaurant where he worked again he met Hasley and the same man he had seen with Hasley several times.

"I'd better capture that moment of intimacy, then I'll tell Melvin. Maybe he doesn't know the truth yet," Steve muttered as he took his cell phone from his pants pocket. Then he captured Hasley's intimacy with the man next to her.

After that Steve sent it via text message to his best friend, Melvin. Not long after, Melvin replied to his message.

-Don't you send anything about her again, Steve-

Steve was surprised, he wondered if Melvin was angry because he thought he wanted to ruin the relationship between Melvin and Hasley? Steve quickly apologized.

-Sorry, Melvin. I intentionally sent that photo to you so you could see for yourself that what I said was true. I'm not lying about the two of them-

-Yes, I believe you one hundred percent. In fact, I'm very grateful that you helped me get out of Hasley's affair. Damn it! She’s making a fool out of me! I'm such a fool not to know about the affair she made. I saw everything when I came to Hasley's house. I saw how they kissed. And it was disgusting in my eyes. I hate them so much. Pray for me so that I can immediately erase my feelings of love for Hasley. She doesn't deserve that much love from me anymore. Thanks again, Steve. I'll come to your house later after I take care of my car. Bye, Steve-

Reading Melvin's reply, Steve's eyes blinked. Didn't he read it wrong? Melvin was taking care of his car? Steve knew that his best friend didn't have his own car.

Melvin always used public transportation when traveling. Melvin had a motorcycle but it had broken down so often that it was rarely used. Even for work, Melvin chose to use public transportation. Just now Melvin said that he would come to the house after choosing his car.

"Hey Steve, met you here by accident. How are you?"

Suddenly Steve was greeted by Hasley who just realized that there was a friend of her boyfriend. Hasley greeted warmly, as usual. But Steve was immediately disgusted by it. There was no guilt on Hasley's face even though she had just destroyed Melvin's feelings.

"I don't know you,"

"Oh wow--what, you don't know me? You poor guy. It's the same as your best friend. Don't be so arrogant, you guys have nothing. That's why I cheated,”

"Then what do you have? Hmm? Besides having money, you have a body that you can use to attract men who have a lot of money?" Steve asked with a sardonic smile. He knew Hasley was a fairly rich woman, so he was also confused as to why Hasley wanted to be with Melvin in the first place? If in the end she was going to have an affair for the reason of being tired of poor Melvin, she should never have been in a relationship with Melvin in the first.

And even though Melvin doesn't have anything, his feelings should still be respected. Hasley could have ended their relationship gracefully with that excuse and Steve was sure Melvin would understand. But what happened was that Hasley cheated on him,

"Damn it! Shut that mouth of yours,"

"I was right, wasn't I?"

"I regret having known you,"

"Especially me, Hasley. You do have money, you're more than my best friend, but at least my best friend has more heart than you,"
