Chapter 15 - Alden’s True Arsenal

Alden has learned to combine both his wendigo and ghoul powers to form his very own True Fist. He mixes the ghoul fire and the wendigo power together to form a lethal attack. The speed of his fist is insane. It soars across the area right towards Tanji.

*BANG*

He lands the devastating punch right on Tanji’s locked up arm. He slides back from the impact but he seems relatively unaffected. He exhales slowly and Alden’s arm steams off.

Tanji sighs of relief and mutters “Phew. I actually got through that.” Alden rushes right back at him and throws a kick. Tanji slides under the hit and uses his Claw Slash to slash right at his knee.

He gets back up to his feet and Alden falls to one knee. Tanji takes advantage of this and zooms right across the arena. His qi clumps around his hand and forms the Power Fist. He lands the strike to his back and he falls forward. He says “It’s over.” Tanji is confused by how he just spontaneously said that. “But that attack was one of the strongest in your arsenal.” He smirks and says “When complete, it will be. But now, no.” His eyes widen and he takes a step back. “What?!” He thinks in shock. Alden stands and the slash quickly begins to close up and heal. He then swivels and slashes a wave of fire at Tanji. It slams into his vulnerable skin, leaving a large and deep wound across his torso. He spits blood and falls back but Alden blitzes towards him.

He clenches his fist and fire clumps across his fist. He punches him in the gut and he flies right off of his feet. He rolls away and a trail of blood is left behind him. He looks up in shock like a man begging for his life. He steps up to one knee but spits more blood and instinctively grasps his chest.

He shouts in his head “How?! How is he so strong?!!” As Alden approaches him, he uses Qi Rush and blitzes out of the way. He dodges a slam to the ground and blocks an incoming fireball. He dodges two more power punches before his Qi Rush runs out. As he lands, he is hooked in his jaw. He is hurled across the arena before landing on his arm. He rolls over while panting, gazing at the roof of the building.

He snaps back into reality and looks down at Alden. He sees the number 5 being put up by a teacher. He stands up in 3 seconds and waits for Alden to make a move. Alden raises a brow in surprise at how he’s able to get up. He doesn’t really care however and just launches another fireball right at his face.

It hits and disorientates him significantly. He rushes at Tanji and throws a final punch. However, it is dodged. He looks in shock at how he manages to dodge the attack. Tanji then lands the Power Fist right to his gut. He falls back and Tanji runs right across the arena to the other side.

He grabs his gut in pain but it quickly subsides. He stands to his feet and is eager to finish this fight off.

He turns and his eyes glow white. His hands go grey-blue and so do his shins. He stomps as he turns and causes a low, rumbling vibration through the arena to Tanji’s feet. He mutters quietly but sternly “You’re dead.” He rushes at Tanji but he uses Qi Rush in reaction.

*CLASH*

Two of their punches connect, causing a massive force output. Tanji goes for a left hook but Alden dodges and swivels. While airborne, he kicks in his knee before turning the other way and kicking his jaw. Tanji throws his last punch with Qi Rush that shakes Alden up a little bit. However, it is not for long.

Not long at all.

He grabs his wrist and cracks it. Tanji falls to one knee in agony. He screams before being kicked right in his abdomen. He spurts blood across the arena before being hurled out of the ring by Alden. He lands and passes out instantly.

The teacher pulls their arm out and signals that the match has concluded. They shout “ALDEN NA’ESTE!! WINNER!!” He raises his hand and says keenly “Yes!”

He steps off of the ring himself and Tanji is brought to the medical rooms.

His eyes slowly open. Haziness surrounds the room. He can’t seem to focus on any single object. He sees a computer in the distance. Large, with green light emitting off of some parts of the screen. The screen is mostly blacked out though. He turns the other way. He sees a blurry silhouette of a man. He is quite short and wears a white cloak. He spits blood and sees the doctor reacts to this.

As a sharp needle comes close to him, it focuses and he sees it perfectly. It stabs into his left chest before enlarging slightly. A little hole is left through the needle that can send liquid through.

He sees another doctor to his left connect something to the end of some tube. The wire connects to the needle. It is a bottle containing a green substance. It goes through the transparent tube and into his body. He feels the substance circulate throughout his body and enhance it. A notification then pops up. Somehow, he can see it perfectly fine.

[HP RETURNING TO 100%. HEALING ELIXIR.]

His vision starts to return to him and he can move his body again. It starts with his fingers and eventually moves throughout to his entire body. He sits up and thinks in sadness “I lost.”

He stands and one of the doctors say “You’ll be fine. It’s just one loss.” This makes him smile and he nods back at him. “Thank you, sir.” He responds. The doctor says “No problem!”
